In the real world, they may not have much, but they love each other and commit to each other by getting married. But the world intrudes on them and gets rid of their love, because their love should not be. It gets rid of them. We see that the world has done that before to others love that was deemed not worthy. Their stories is like other love that has come before theirs, disintegrated because they were perceived as imperfect by the world. The real world is broken.
