Fri(end)s was a surprise to us since he is currently serving in the military but apparently he left us content and music to enjoy while he is serving. The clip is up for different interpretations, it can be taken as life will always be the same but it is your perspective that matters, it can also be taken as you need to drop toxic relationships in your life since that friend is leading him on with how she acts while keeping it under the friends label and at the end he is scolding himself with the “yaah” at the end to snap out of it. It can be also taken as representation of idols’ lives, where the have to be alone so fans be content, while they really don’t care even when he is bleeding on the road, they still carry on with their lives, and when he is in relationship everyone is angry and unhappy and STILL don’t care about him dying and focusing on fighting among themselves. The pile of clothes in Love Wins All and the pile in Spring Day are actually an homage to the an art piece by Frenchman Christian Boltanski - No Man's Land, which was shown at a New York Armory in 2010. The clothes represent missing people - not individual but nameless. (Boltanski also was deeply interested in the Holocaust; the pile of clothes are reminiscent of the concentration camps where the clothing was the only thing left of the Jews who perished after entering the showers.
