Yo, i know this been up forever, but your guide helped me finally get past this fight. I ended up failing the P-Neck method 4 times, said screw it, followed the first method with Shark/Karabwam combo eating/blood magic and finally was able to take her out. Prifddinas is pretty! Thank you!
Thanks for the guide! Should note that at my 70 prayer, I got JUST enough points from a single prayer pot use to last me a whole cycle. Only had glory, rada's blessing and explorer ring 2 as far as +prayer goes (-1 from staff).
I highly suggest bringing 1-2 overheal items. Given how budget this setup is I suggest bringing Guthix rest. IF you look on the wiki you the special is predictable so you want to heal above max health just before that spec and then let blood spells heal you its less risky to get ko'd. ofc Anglers/Saradomin Brews are better but harder to access. (though I do not think getting some grubby chest keys isnt that hard to prepare for this.)
Just as a tip, you can put the p neck on way earlier, as there aren't any more standard attacks to trigger it prematurely once the special starts. Gives you the breathing room to focus on just timing the nightshades 👌 Got it first time on the hc, solid guide

Honestly I find that the most DPS you do, the better. Did this with a warped sceptre and had better luck than with blood blitz. What really kills is the number of times she will do her attack.
For Ironmen, get blighted Rays and Anglers to bring instead of whatever food you otherwise might have. Switch to a PVP world right before entering the fight.
I tried doing this without brews at max stats and the -98 hp every spec was just too much to deal with. I was using retribution and blood blitz and prayer flicking with somewhat decent gear for +115 magic. It probably would have been possible with lower hp. Guthix rest is incredibly good for this. It lets you overeat to +5 so you don't lose out on overeating. You can heal 20 hp per inventory so you are only losing out on 2 hp compared to other foods.
Just did this quest for the first time using Bloodbark with 87 magic (102 magic attack, no god cape). Took me 3 tries, it should've taken one but I had the worst luck at the end of my first attempt. Got Seren down to two hp and then the healers spawned. My character decided to run into Seren's melee to hit a healer with a knife and that was it. Second try I just wasn't eating how I should've. Third try I finished with 8 food and a dose of prayer.
Me an iron with ahrims robe bottoms and helm aswell as a tome of fire & fury, & 89 Magic lvl: yep me n this dude are equal , 😆 for some reason the boss is so much easier looking in vids cause of the experience and muscle memory they have

you might be keen to know, I finally slapped Seren. SOTE is complete. After about 30 attempts my character finally stopped noodaling, and hit 20's. Finished the fight with 5 food and 2 prayer pots. what a difference a little RNG makes.
This worked perfectly for me, 81 mage, 81 hp, 70 prayer ,96 combat killed on the 3rd try. Only better ish gear I had was ahrims hood and dag bottoms, otherwise just standard stuff. I could have easily brought two more prayer pots or just on extra because towards the end of the fight I literally had one sip left for a redemption proc, so RNG saved my ass and I was able to finish her. I had ten pizzas left after the fight, so there's no need to really panic eat, let the blood blitz do its thing. I ate like ever 2-3 attacks if anything. I think the some key things are feeling out the fight and understanding the cycle, there's no randomness, it's all the same. 3 normal attacks, she does melee, 3 attacks, she splits, 3 attacks, healing pillars, 3 attacks, melee again into the special. I always clicked on the ground to stop my casting cycle before her special abilities which I think helps a bit. Otherwise maybe I just had really good rng, idk, but that's osrs for you. Would forget all the crazy guides with p necks, nightshade, whatever the fuck, this guide was perfect, only thing i'd change if you're near my stats is like 3 more prayer pots, so like 7.
Loved this boss, don’t need darts knives or a bow for this fight at all.. cast highest level spell is good enough and shoot the healers with the spell way more ergonomic lol
Also holy crap testing this boss with blood burst vs blood blitz is night and day. You can't heal enough nor do enough damage with blood burst where as blood blitz makes the fight super easy.
This is such an RNG fight. I have done like 5 attempts now with ahrims, pizzas and guthix rests. Using blood blitz. I always have good hit RNG in the first half of the boss. But I must go through like 6 rotations until I run out of supplies. Last 200 hp of the boss, I just splash or hit under 5 damage every cast. Then I have to repeat the last phase until I run out of food. I CBA to brute force the fight by making more and more tedious pizzas and guthix rests. I'll just grind 87 slayer, get a trident, and come nuke this bitch like normal people.
I'm gonna try to do this method on my 1 defence ironman. Is it also possible to use regular nightshade? regular nightshade is stackable so more room for p necks?
blood blitz mystics elite void 72.05% 73.05% 2.88195 2.92186 blood blitz + MYSTIC MIGHT mystics elite void 75.40% 76.39% 3.01611 3.05569 void and elite void is more dps than mystics (your max hit is capped at 24 btw, blood blitz hit 25) void has more ranged defence, and elite void has more prayer bonus too. this is my DPS with mid game ironman gear. i forgot to add that mage arena 2 cape + elite void adds 1 more max hit to blood blitz, this is more dps because if you roll and hit a 25, or 26(your max) it will get rerolled to 22-24 on seren. adding dps that you can't add via a calculator
I'm struggling on the last phase, the pillars heal her up too much before i can get them all down, I use darts and down them asap and she's already healed like 100 hp and then by the time i get her down 100 hp she has her healing phase again
@@mikekenny1698 I have this exact same issue. 81 Magic, using blood blitz, i have sara brews, with 95 magic attack and a supposed 74.42% chance to hit. I have tried the fight 6 times now, using god spells and using blood blitz. With blood blitz the first half of the fight is an easy breezy thing. But once she drops into the 3rd phase I just seem to start splashing like crazy and can never seem to get the same consistent damage i did in the first few phases. By way of example. In the last attempt i did, during the first rotation of her special attacks I managed to get her down to around 720 hp. So 280 damage in one rotation, and this was before i realized I forgot to turn on my +15% magic prayer. After that it just seemed like the only thing I could do was splash. No other rotation of attacks even got close to that level of damage output. By the time I get her to 250 hp or so It seems like I only ever manage to get 40 or so damage to stick per cycle.
Just attempted this again and failed again. However I decided to count my splashes, and I can see my total attacks by counting runes used. 58% accuracy over the course of the fight, not even remotely close to 74%
i think u mentioned a trident, would the method be different if u can afford a trident? It can't autocast ancient spells which is why I'm asking. Or would u just use it bc it has better accuracy at the cost of having to manually cast everything?
I think so. I tried it both ways and the straight-up accuracy from mystics (or Ahrims better if you can afford/obtain it) is more beneficial. Seren has pretty high magic defence.
Iowerth camp teleport, you only have to cross one dense woods and jump one leaves trap ,the rest is basically run Other way with slayer ring to dark beast and head to death altar and enter the tunnel on the western wall
@@Cudascubby Eluned seems to be unreachable after you get to Seren so you cant enchant more crystals if you run out. elven scouts in isafdar become useless, and they teleport around anyway. The only method is to kill more elves for a chance at (1) seeds, Jagex really said F the player at this point.
@@duke9534 If you go to the place just a little south west of Lletya theres an elven scout there that will recharge your crystal during the quest just like eluned does, same price too.

Small tip but could help: Using throwing knives to attack the healing is the same attack speed as darts, but 1 extra tile of range
You can buy bronze knives for 1gp each in the rouge’s den

I totally forgot how easy a few brews are to get now with grubby keys! Def makes this a little less necessary haha

damn i cant do it with nightshade, im always wayyyy over healing with blood blitz all it takes is like 1 or 2 hits and im over health, iron btw :(

What spell are you using? I've found anything less than blood blitz isn't quite enough DPS.

I ran from Lletya, probably not the fastest but going in the pass from the backside seems faster than the ardy side.

Can you use the stackable nightshades, you get from belladona seeds?
I haven't tried yet! The wiki does say you can eat it to the same effect as the non-stackable version, so I think it would work though!

I find the hardest part is making sure you kill the healing tornadoes fast enough, as they heal her up very quickly.

Get it to 500 Hp but then it gets back to 600 with in seconds
Sounds like you're having trouble with the healing phase, make sure you bring a fast-hitting ranged weapon like darts or knives!
