Haters will always be around. Your car is a GSX no matter how it's titled. You did a complete conversion on that thing and it's freaking awesome! Stay up my man🤙
I know it’s not a Gsx but I don’t want to tell everyone asking what it has done lol. It’s also kinda funny that people get mad over it, so I just stuck with it lol
Been watching you for a long time and this is the first time I'll comment. You are an inspiration brother. One of the few Mitsubishi channels I follow for their builds. 🤙❤️🍻
So much respect for you Miguel, I been following you for a long time brotha and watching your growth and the cars as well has been such a pleasure. Keep doing your thing man, you inspire a lot of us 👊
Absolutely phenomenal. OWN YOUR PASSION. My first car was a 95 Eclipse. I loved that car and like you it taught me so much about cars and set me on a path as an auto enthusiast and mechanic. I currently own a 2001 eclipse that's been DSM swapped. Thanks for sharing your DSM experience. I hope you continue to enjoy your passion for years to come.
My story with cars begins with The Fast and the Furious (what a new), and also like you, I was obsessed with Hot Wheels and when I was walking with my mom. I was playing with a toy travelling to home. I've watched the movie when I was 5 years old and for me. It was the coolest thing ever made, I've played Mario Kart when I had a GameCube and later my dad bought me an Xbox 360 and played Forza. I've wasn't interested on the Eclipse, it's pretty but not something great. But when I discovered your channel, I've liked your content and now I want an Eclipse too hahaha. Keep it up hermano. Greetings!
Honestly sold my baby this year and jt absolutely broke my heart financially I really couldn't keep it... you are and where my biggest inspiration with this car I miss it everyday and wish I never did it....
Awesome video! It sums up perfectly your history with your Eclipse. It is really motivating to see how you kept working on it and not gave up, I think it encourages many car enthusiasts (like me) to keep working on their builds. It would be nice to see another POV, it's been a lot since the last one. Keep it up Miguel! Greetings from Spain!
been here from the beginning i love your dedication to the car and the brand i sent this video to my nephew whos 15 and thinking about buying one you are such a inspiration even to me and ive been working and messing with dsms for 10+ years keep up the good work buddy continue inspiring others
Keep up your hard work 💯 and the vr4 has come along way Love to see your progress on your cars. Lazy and Carlos we all need more friends like them real homies.
Been following your channel for a while man. The GSX is one of my dream cars. My sister's ex boyfriend had an manual Eclipse growing up and I remember I'd ride in it a lot. Absolutely loved that car. I remembered the asymmetrical hood bulge, the wing, and the rear end. I love the Eclipse more than any generation of Supra tbh. Including the MK4. Love this video man and the story. Its truly inspiring.
Awesome story! Very clean look. By the way I love the podcast. You're on episode 10 right now. Keep up the good work it definitely hits the ball park about having depression.
I’m 18 years old. my first car was a scion tc 2005 that my dad gave me when I was 16. For a year I’d just constantly push its limits and abuse it going 120 on the highway constantly and racing my other friends. That car lasted a year until the head gasket blew. Then I bought this $500 Jeep that I absolutely hated I missed having a coupe/sedan and then a couple days ago someone wrecked into it while it was parked and flipped their entire car (they are fine). Tomorrow I’m contacting their insurance and am getting paid (the Jeep is valued at $2000ish). All day I’ve been looking into cars and I’m just obsessing over the second gen eclipse can’t wait to be a owner. After watching this video I see myself in you when you first got the car
Had got 1 for 4k and absolutely loved the car it was my home away from home but I had to sell it to make room for my family but currently keeping my vision open to owning 1 once again
It happened to me my first car was a 1995 eclipse and I didn't know what to do with it besides I didn't even know how to drive manual😂 but decided to take the challenge, after a while I saw you on youtube and from now to here your videos have helped me to know how to properly fix my car and have more knowledge about this platform, thank you bro keep it up😎🤙
Awesome car. Completely understand the passion. I have a passion for cars and improving them. A lot of people don’t understand my passion. I’m obsessed with my evo and have a massive list of parts and clean up things to fit. One thing I do think about your eclipse is that it’s just too low. You definitely couldn’t drive that where I live hahaha the roads are terrible. The roads must be better where you are.
I needed to see this. My eclipse gst just jumped teeth from a snapped balance shaft belt and I’m afraid just by looking at it to see if the valves are bent. Money is tight, but this encourages me to at least retime it and check compression. There’s ups and downs with these cars, but I can’t let go❤️🔥
Take a break man. Come back to it when you feel more motivated and have the funds to tackle it. Not worth giving it up due to short term circumstances. Stay up 🤜🏼🤛🏼
I had a silver 98 Eclipse RS (N/A), and a built 97 Talon TSi AWD. Loved both those cars. The Talon was wicked as shit, but the RS was a great daily driver, did great in snow, and also fun to drive.
Dude, in 1999 I had a 95' GSX Silver... miss that whip! 😥 I highly recommend getting a blue pearl clear coat over the Silver. I traded mine too, family life.
The old DSM'ers are slightly toxic, I've built cars from the ground up just not DSM's and everytime i ask a question they are sour and just say DSMTuners or bash me on DSMTuners they don't realize there's still so much stuff not answered in the forums, but it is what it is, forces us to learn and become like them 🤣, nice vid man 10/10
That’s why I would always just read or look up videos before asking anyone. I also asked In person. For some reason people are willing to talk cars alot more without any lash back haha. Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
Was hoping for more chronological breakdown of what you did to the car and the roadblocks you had in detail. If you'd be willing to make that video we would all come to praise you and you can help a lot of us wanting to duplicate some of the modifications. Nice video though! What are your thoughts on bags for suspension?
Hey just wanted to say very inspiring story I had recently inherited a 96 GSX that I have to rebuild I'm local in socal would love to get some pointer or hell if you'll even come check it out it sat for 10years needs your blessing lol
That’s a beautiful car man. I’m in the market for 1998-2000 GSX right now. Do you mind if I ask what would be a reasonable price for a good example? I have a specific spec in mind, but I’m not sure how much that would cost. I’m at a point in life where I can afford to have a an excuse to buy one of the cars I fell in love with in the 90s and I can get away with a GSX
Hi Miguel! Would love to see your DSM in person. I have a 95 gsx. I love cars but I lack the knowledge to work on them. Do you work on other’s cars? For pay of course.. I would love to restore my gsx to look as clean as yours

Beautiful proportions for a sports coupe. Look at modern day BMW M4 and M2 they are humongous monstrosities. I hate what they have become.
What does your dad say about your car? He have any memories about that gsx he had back in the day?
He loves it and is proud of the progress its gone through. He basically just told me he got it at a dealership pretty cheap for transpiration in the early 2000s haha
