    I get bad smell in the cabin too. I have done BMW diagnostics and they said oil injectors are leaking and the cover gasket needs replacing as it's also leaking. I don't seem to lose any oil so it must be small as I check oil levels regularly. How much would such job cost? I have been quoted 190 for injector seals and 180 for head cover gasket. Would this be enough to ensure it doesn't stink anymore? It's a great car apart from that.

    Quick one do you need to bleed fuel system or its pumping air out itself

      @Matik1717  3 года назад +1

      The pump will pump the fuel back in just keep the start button pressed and the clutch in ;) Pozdro ! Daj suba dzieki x

    • @nemz7505
      @nemz7505 3 года назад +2

      If you've only touched the high pressure side, no need to bleed as the HPFP will be primed. If you change the filter, use the fuel bleeding service function in ISTA (or other tool). Loads of people disconnect the fuel hose at the filter instead of the connector further forward which has a one way valve to stop the fuel running out of the HPFP. Then fuel runs out of the pump and it takes loads of cranking to primeit, running the risk of lubrication issues.
