Geeta, I have tried the homemade upama rava mix and refrigerated it. The only change I made was in the ready mix I did not add green chilli, ginger. These I add along with carrots, peas or green beans and onions when I am ready to make the upama or idli or the apam. Thank you. This kitchen made and preserved instant upama mix makes my morning breakfast easy.

This recipe had become a regular in my house. Ever since i prepared it the first time aunty it has become a favourite. I mostly roast about a kilo of rava exactly the way you have showed only that I add a few drops of ghee in the oil. Not only the taste the aroma is too goodenough for two people having 2to 3 times a week. Good for evening chai time snacks done in about 10 minutes. I suggest everyone to prepare and store it. Just like me it will become a regular healthy recipe at everyone s home. Thank you so much aunty. Take care.

A suggestion. If you take one measure of this mixture, Equal amount of rice flour, adjust the seasong, Add more then twice amount of water.Make a very liquidy mixture , rest it for5-6 minutes,I think you can also make 'Rawa Dosa" Please do try it. Once again thanks a lot for your recipe.

Wow.. very useful tip.. thank you ma'am.. this will be very useful esp for ppl when they go outdoors/staying in hotel.. All we have to do is add boiling water and the food is ready.. another recipe i think of with this readymade mix can be rava dosa just by adding rice\maida to this mixture along with curd.. Once again thank you and all the very best ma'am
