Evolve is an action video game with a focus on both co-operative, and competitive, multiplayer gameplay. The game adapts a '4v1' asymmetrical structure where four players take control of the Hunters, while the fifth player controls the Monster. The Hunters' main objective is to track and hunt the Monster in a limited amount of time, while the Monster's goal is to evolve and make themselves more powerful.
In the beginning of a match, a 30-second headstart is given to the Monster so that they can have enough time to escape before the Hunters parachute from a plane to where the Monster started. Each map features an open world environment for players to explore and play within. To help the Hunters navigate the environments quickly, they are equipped with jetpacks, allowing them to jump over obstacles and cliffs. The jetpack can also be used to dodge attacks performed by the monster, though it consumes a Hunter's energy. The team can track the monster, as well as place waypoints on an interactive map. The color of these waypoints are different based on what players have marked. The waypoint mark turns yellow for environment, orange for wildlife or red for the Monster.
The Monster needs to grow stronger in order to fight the Hunters by hunting and killing other local wildlife in order to gain experience points. When it gains enough experience, the Monster can evolve. Through evolution, the Monster's health bar is extended and refilled, and more abilities are available to the Monster, which makes it easier to kill the Hunters. However, the Monster is vulnerable during its evolution, and if caught by the hunters, the process is disrupted. The Monster can also enter a "stealth mode", allowing it to avoid detection by wildlife and Hunters.
Evolve features five different modes: Hunt, Nest, Rescue, Defend and Arena, which have different objectives for both the Hunters and the Monster. Evolve provides two different structures to these game modes: Quick Play, which starts a single playthrough match; and Evacuation, which serves as a five-match, multiplayer story mode. In Evacuation, each match gives the winning side an advantage in the next map, such as having a toxic gas the Monster is immune to, or autonomous gun turrets to assist the Hunters. The Evacuation mode ends with a 'Defend' match. Evolve also features an Observer Mode, allowing players to watch a match without playing in the match. The spectator can jump between cameras and view the match from both the Hunters' and the Monster's perspectives.
Normally, five players play in a standard round of Evolve, with four Hunters fighting one Monster. Playing with less than five players, including single player, is possible in all modes due to computer-controlled bots. These bots can control up to four of the characters, allowing between one and four human players in any game mode. Players can also switch to play as another class instantly in a single-player match.

I love how at 12:52 Ghost is just talking normal as he BRUTALLY BEATS A HUNTER TO DEATH! LMFAO
In my opinion, Behemoth's Tongue Grab combos best with its other 2 abilities. A good tongue grab into a fissure makes huge damage, and then if you drop a rock wall (which can go before the fissure to make sure they get hit) then you get good isolation from range as well as a chance to either pounce or lava bomb. You can also lava bomb beyond your tongue grab target, with the intent to damage the other hunters while you hit the person you grabbed, giving the hunters something else to pay attention to.
That what the devs recommend. More or less.
the way they changed tongue grab is that now the hunters won't be stunned till they reach behemoth, they can jet pack to get away half way before they reach you if you tongue grab them from far away

a tip for elder kraken when using chain lightning take advantage of deployables like healing buoys, turetts etc and wild life around the hunters to chain the lightning to the hunters for more damage

You really just need to start killing relays that team should of never had a chance in game 2. You had three of them dead and speed 30 secs just looking around instead of winning.
Its more fun for us to watch him fight it out instead of destroying the relay. Also probably more fun for him to fight instead of finishing so soon
i agree he should really go for the relay more often. he seems to think it's bad manners or something stupid like that but it's part of the game use it.
when its 1v1 its not fun to watch you chase someone down destroy the relay so he comes to you or you win and get another match in.

I like how Bob the behemoth biggest monster in Evolve can sneak attack. Hunters are blind, deaf and dumb for that to happen!
I remember when I went to an escape room, it's fun but also confusing at times. There's this one puzzle I remember, where u have find a 4-digit passcode to open this safe that contains the key to another puzzle, and in order to find the passcode, u have to find the passcode in this Vampires and Lycans lore book. (The whole escape room is themed of Vampires and Lycans) PS, Lycans r basically old Werewolves, fyi

i came to watch this to just see what evolve stage two is like. i think there is good elements to this game but it seriously looks like its own game. i think og evolve is way better and more skilled but thats just my thoughts. once i saw things like planet scanner and the way dome was set up, i think i already figured out im not gonna play evolve stage two, im just gonna stick to the real thing.way more fun and challenging.

Well except on consoles that it....
doesn't seem like they have really done that much to him, just tweaked his tongue and traversal a bit. Even if you account for the new passive it doesn't justify the sheer amount of time it took for them to fix him and get him back in the game. Doesn't bode well when they are back to taking so much time to fix such little things.
Behemoth has a history of being the most buggy aspect of the game so I'm not too surprised that it took this long.

Not yet, but If you're waiting for Stage 2 to come out I would just be patient until it comes so you can get it free instead of having to pay like $60 for it now. It shouldn't be that long until it releases for Xbox One, there's just a little more tweaks that they want to make for Stage 2 and it should release after that :).

Well actually, I myself consider it decent, you hunt someone and when u are fairly sure they used up their jetpack, u can tounge grab and Hen cant get away.
I've had to say this so many times, behemoth isn't supposed to hunt, he is made to stand still and pull the hunters into him

You can start by being constantly on the move....... Use your traversal a ton.
Keep moving,hiding and eating until you get to stage 3
Hiding is not as great as before..... I still recommend you just keep running.

+Aldon Ong There have been hints towards a possible Wraith adaptation called Phantom Wraith in the quantum caira sneak peak. Its speculated to be Wraith with a different Warp ability . Possibly set a poiny grab someone and warp away? and also its said to be more of a illusion playstyle instead of rogue like normal wraith. but nothing is confirmed yet.
New monster I assume he is referring to something like the Host or the Velvet Worm. Not counting variations. Also, based on trello updates, they MIGHT be doing the Behemoth Variation first. I heard rumors that her deocy will be replaced with a standard cloak just like back in legacy. Minus the actual decoy of course.
