“Dressing well is a gift to everyone you meet”.
A couple of very stylish gentlemen providing excellent style advice. Watch and learn. Style matters.
Thanks, Charles. I really enjoyed filming this one with Antonio.
I am a woman. "I approve of this message".
I'm in my sixties. I have worn many different styles of footwear. When I was very young in the 1960s I wore shoes with a pointed toe. Shoes were uncomfortable to wear in those days. I can remember having blisters. Then in the 1970s I wore platform shoes. In the 1980s when I visited the USA , I bought a pair of white boat shoes which have always been popular. Today I have different styles , ones which are a dress shoe to wear with good trousers and casual ones to wear with denims. From Carl.
I'm doing the math, if you're in your sixties, you had to be a child, and you wore pointed toe children shoes?
Bravo, gentlemen. We love to see an ongoing collaboration.👏👞👞
It's great to see you collaborating with Antonio, I'm subbed to his channel as well. I just got my most unusual pair of shoes from eBay last month, a pair of Allen Edmonds kiltie loafers with tassel and longwing brouging in a medium brown. I wear them with chinos and an OCBD with rolled up sleeves, although I also wore them with gray houndstooth dress slacks, a RL dress shirt and a blue partially lined sport coat when I took my wife to dinner for Mothers Day. I got compliments on the outfit and the shoes.
That sounds like a great look, Jeff. Antonio has a great channel. You will learn a lot from him (as have I.)
Very nice video . I like the white sneakers for warm climate to wear with brown short and white linen shirt . It looks casual but nonchalant
It’s a good look. Thank you for the comment
He made even more RMRS vids! Content this week is pretty wild
That's right! Sadly, this is the last one with Antonio, but look out for my upload with Gentleman's Gazette on Sunday
Great collaboration.
Thanks, Luis.
Brilliant channel and video.Keep the good content coming and thank you !
Thank you. I’m glad you’re enjoying
Those cherry monk straps would make Liberace blush.
They're quite the pair. Personally, I'm eyeing a pair of green crocodile loafers as my outlandish shoe choice.
@@Gent.Z Now those could work.
$600 lizard shoes like Slick Ric was styling and profiling with. 😂
This thumbnail is amazing 😂
Have followed Mr. Centeno's RMRS channel for a long time. Very pleased to see Gent.Z that focuses on the next generation of gentlemen. Keep up the good work and best of luck to you and your channel.
My most unusual shoes are brown and beige spectators. I wear them with striped suits and sometimes when I am wearing an outfit that involves cream pants.
Great video. I think the oxblood monk shoes are very dapper, as are the Italian loafers. Both are must haves in the wardrobe of a gentleman. The best direction I can give is to watch the films from Eon productions and bond with the best footwear variations, Definitely, all guys will get it right the first time!
Love this collaboration! Two of the best Gentlemen in the game right now!
Thank you!
Good job! Great collaboration!
Love the universe cross over
Antonio, great job with the explanations and information you provided. Its great to see you in another content creators video.
Great video. So good to see the two of you together.
I don’t have anything really wild or unusual in my collection. Probably the most unusual would be a pair of dark grey, suede, very slim profile, Chelsea boots. I love ‘em!
Great collaboration and some solid advice about how to build an outfit from the shoes upwards. Two of my favourite stylists.
Thanks, Adrian. It was great collaborating with Antonio
Outstanding content, gentlemen! Absolutely love it! Keep it up! Sending love from Canada!
My favorite pair of shoes for summer is a brown woven derby. Only to wear on dry days 😎
Yes, indeed. Nice choice
Really love this video! Could you please talk about what a gentleman should wear when attending college?
It's really a confusing matter.
Sure. If you look back at my older videos, you’ll find one on this exact topic
I love the cherry monk strap but since I wear braces all the time match the belt is no problem. However, if I was going to wear a belt I would never wear them with a black belt. A gentleman will always match his shoes and belt.
That's another advantage of braces, indeed.
I agree that you don't have to be from Texas or places like that to enjoy cowboy boots. I'm a yinzer and while I don't wear them much now, I used to wear cowboy boots all the time. Cowboy boots are, in my opinion, one of the best items to wear on your feet. You can wear them with jeans, and they look casual, or you can take it up a notch and they still look good. You can wear them with a suit and look good. When I was younger, I hate two pair. One pair was for everyday use. Those were the more casual pair. The other boots were more for dressing up.
Have come across a pair of nice german hiking boots in cherry red with no sings of wear at a local second-hand shop. That pair cost me 30$. The upper, the lining and the insole made of leather. Looks great with light blue jeans. Buying things by chance is my favorite (and the cheapest) way of expanding the wardrobe.
Jack Ryan and James Bond.
Truly enjoying this content😊
My summer wardrobe(arsenal) is going to be on point.
Thank you, Sam. I’m sure it is
Some no shows still show especially with some footwear. If so, take your no shows and put them around the insoles if removable. Bottom touching bottom of your foot.
That's very true. No-shows can be a bit of a pain. Good tip though, thank you.
My favorite boot, a pair of men's dark brown Frye Harness Boots, styled with a pair of Levi's jeans and an OCBD.
Classy accent from the right young man👌👌
*blink* Cowboy boots? Ok then. I would *never* but I'm slowly accepting they're just something that is culturally embedded in America and some people do love them. I'm a little surprised to hear you change your tone and be so dismissive of white sneakers when earlier this year you spoke quite positively of them in your videos. But that's part of why style is fun, our taste tends to evolve. For me, I'm still very fond of white sneakers. Loved the suggestions on this list. I actually do have a shoe in a fun color, I have a dark blue loafer from a company mentioned in this video, Acemarks, it's a fun piece to wear occasionally. Cheers to your style.
I definitely still think white sneakers look good on most men. But when my last pair wore out, I decided not to replace them (for now.) Personal style does change indeed, and I might bring them back for the summer.
What about discussing the style of a 'daily uniform'. The consistent but individual look, the message it sends...
Reactions and treatment to you when Goth style and now?
Do you ever leave home in a t-shirt?
How to behave after the first real love broke up with me after more than 2 years and emotionally abused & manipulated (cheating, lying, gaslighting etc) me ? A video about break ups would be nice
what would you wear during a fishing trip? I hadn’t thought about until recently!
Any recommended places to get the best affordable white sneakers?
I think one type of shoe that you really don't want to spend good money is the driving loafer or similar vented loafer. I do see top sellers like Carmina selling them, but I think any shoe that doesn't have a solid stitched or welted sole isn't worth going expensive for. I, especially, wear out the outside corners of the heels and these shoes don't look like they can be resoled or repaired and while they're cheaper than your Oxford's or Derbys they can still run over $100.
I'd like to see the two of you do more videos together.
I never wear sneakers when I’m out on town mostly my shoes boat shoes and penny loafer and tassels loafers
Why are UK content providers (excepting Gent) so down on cowboy boots? I figured that they were at least as good as Chelsea or lace up Loakes with broguing. The response was something like cowboy boots are part of a costume. If you want to wear a costume, go ahead. I got the impression that they ranked below suede chukkas. Seems a tad insular.
They are just very unusual in the UK so would be seen as a little costume-ish. Clothing is all about context. But, now I’ve been in the US for a while, I am liking cowboy boots more and more
Well said. I am from Tyneside, England and have a pair of brown cowboy boots from Guatemala which look great with a well fitted suit!
Cowboy boots and a cowboy hat, is equivalent to wearing a full suit of armour for some.
@@haruyanto8085 The trick is don’t go full cowboy unless you are one. Boots or hat but not both.
White sneakers with a suit…? That’s a “no” for me Bob.
7 children? - oh my, you need track shoes if not roller skates 😮 😅
[Off topic] Greetings James. Do you have any guidance on offering a sincere apology.
Sneakers with a suit SCREAMS "I'm Young and too cheap or too broke to buy better shoes!"
I guess more guys would get more use out of the "dress" sneakers or even those suede derbys because they THINK they can pass for formal as well as casual, but most of the time they're not going to any extremely formal occasions, anyway, and their wardrobes are likely more Office Casual than Office Traditional now?
I don't wear loafers. I would likely prefer the perforated ones if I was going to invest in some. I have one pair of cheap ones that cut into the back of my leg above the heel and find boat shoes much more comfortable, etc.
I disagree: I think more colorful shoes go with a jazzier outfit just fine. But then it's all likely too bold to be considered Office Casual [or appropriate] anymore. I would enjoy a pair like those two-tone with the yellow, but I agree that making it Oxford instead of Derby confuses everything and this problem exists with more subtle shoes that maybe a plain color but have wingtip or other broguing, etc.
I don't know if Oxford always costs more, so most guys might blanche at the idea of spending extra for shoes that they can't wear "formally", but then how often are they dressed in business suit for wedding now these days, either? And that usually looks too stuffy, anyway. Save the grey suit for NOT happy occasion in SPRINGtime when most weddies occur.
I still don't really like cowboy boots for daily walking wear. I just got a pair of those same ones rather than go overboard with more expensive custom pair that I know I wouldn't wear much, but if I was actually riding horses out in the brush, I would want thicker leather. Also, I think a packer boot style might suit overall better, but I also think riding with lace-ups is not the end of the world if the slack is brought in tight and not all left to chance like typically done with sneakers, etc.
Guys you forgot the clogs.
Great collaborarion; Old school and new school together and sharing their point of view for us! 🦾 Regards from Mexico.
Thank you, it was great to film this with Antonio
I think this channel is what keeps me heterosexual. These mens' shoes are driving me nutz! 🤤😻
Glad to be of service ;)
