@@meshmeso I had heard previously that Sunderland wasn’t a good place to live cos it looked really run down and old, and there’s a lot of anti social behaviour. But last week my family and I went to the Sunderland open day, and we got to see around the city and it honestly was quite nice, there were many retail parks and there was even a nice beach there which is well kept. The town where all the shops r, did look run down and derelict. but overall I rate the city a 7/10. The university is also quite modern and has a nice view of the lake - downside is that the accommodation is badd, the rooms are spacious but run down. they proper need to renovate, but uni accommodation is always known to not be the best anyways unfortunately. hope this helped.
