That sounds more complex and challenging than any funk bassline I've heard. I'm going to love and hate learning XTC's songs. You play this like you own it.

I can play the verse riff for exactly as long as the song needs me to and not a note more - my left hand is usually begging me to stop by the end. You make it look flawless. Love the tone, too.

Superb bassline from Brian to mirror Colin's original score. But I've always thought that XTC also needed a less melodic, more rhythmic bassline to augment Colin's inventive 'lead' bassline style, especially on some of the funkier numbers. On some of the tracks, the overall bassline comes across as a bit thin. Does anyone else get what I'm saying?
