KING Willem-Alexander Visits Dutch Exercise at Carlisle Airport | TAC BLAZE 2024

- King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands made a very special visit to Cumbria as a large deployment of Dutch Air Force personnel and helicopters were engaged in a training exercise at RAF Spadeadam using a mix of helicopters including Chinooks, Cougars and Apaches.
It was great to see the King arrive on this RNAF Gulfstream G650ER V-117 from Rotterdam landing at 12:18 before departing at 17:37 on their way back to the Netherlands.

During his time as Crown-Prince Willem-Alexander worked as First Officer for KLM Cityhopper, there´re still some photo´s from it available in the net.

@@JonathanWinton123 Yes, I readed it, too, that he got his 737 Type Rating shortly before becoming King and wants to hold his License and Type Rating, so he´s usually doing so much as it is necessary for it.
