Hi Bull. Great looking garden. I dug up my radishes, and behold, I have Detroit Golden Beets growing. In place of the radishes, I planted two Ace-55, a Martino's Roma, and a Black Krim tomato, and potted up the rest of my late seasoin determinant tomato seedings. Blasted mustard is growing fast. I just harvested it last week, and it is ready for the third reaping. The Swiss chard is ready too. I have crookbneck and lemon squash on the vine. My potatoes are starting to die back, so it is decision time. Wjhat to plant? I'll check out the local feed and seed and see what they have left in stock for seed potatos. If I don't like the selection, or they don't look good, I'll replace the potatoes with carrots and turnips. My elephant garlic is ready to come out of the ground. My grocery store mystery garlic needs a couple more weeks. I'm waiting for the leaves to die back. I don't have a replacement crop for them, so I'll cover the space with leaves. There are still over a hundred onions growing in the raised bed, so it is a small space. I haver two one year old peach tree seedlings to add to my orchard. They will go in the ground next week. I'm not looking forward to diging in the Alabama red clay, not without a backhoe. The holes need to be big, at least 18 inches deep, and three feet around to give the trees room to root. They won't do it in red clay, so I will be ammending it with 1/3 red clay, 1/3 sand, and 1/3 compost. That will give me ten trees for my orchard, and two pear trees and a cherry tree on the back side of the property.

That’s awesome brother, your garden is producing lots of food and you’re preserving it well. My potatoes have died back and I plan to start harvesting some of them next week

Great video, Bull. It is decision time for me. My potatoes are dying back, so they will be coming out of the ground soon. I am going to check the seed potatoe stock at the local feed and seed store. If I don't like what they have, I'll replace them with carrots and turnips. Gotta keep the garden growing, and me fed. The first peppers of the season have been harvested and eaten. The blasted mustsrd is growing fast. It has only been a week since I last harvested the mustard, and it is ready for the third reaping. The Swiss chard is ready too. I have crookneck squash and lemon squash growing, so I'll be harvesting that soon too. My elephant garlic is ready to come out of the ground, my grocery store mystery garlic needs a week or two longer. I'm waiting for the leaves to die back. The peach trees have arrived. Next week, I'll plant them in the ground. I'm not locking forward to digging in the Alabama red clay without a backhoe. Dynamite? I'm hoping that the Fuji and Honeycrisp apple tres flower at the same time next year and cross pollinate. If not, I'll have to purchase a crabapple tree to use as a pollinator. I'm determined to get apples next year.

Definitely a nice crabapple tree is always a winner for cross pollination. I’m getting excited do manny plants are putting on fruit now. Next year I have to plant more garlic and work a lot of organic matter into the bed.

Thanks enjoyed . Have some s. potatoes slips need to get out. Problems lots squirrels and they dig. So have worker smarter keep them from digging. Planted other potatoes in bags so far they have left them alone. Was feeding birds gave them some but so greedy!. Try your trellis but smaller. Take care.
