This video came at the perfect time. I’m currently starting recovery for anorexia and am desperately trying to repair and grow my hair because it was breaking off 😭🥺 we’re all in this journey together x
i was losing hair fromundereating too, the fastest thing that grew my hair was taking daily iron, b12, fish oil, and making sure to eat lots of protein and omega 3 fatty acids (avacado, walnuts, sardines etc)
@ yeah I’m currently taking b12, biotin, collagen and a vegan multivitamin. I’m trying to eat more protein and carbohydrates but obviously that is taking more time 😅😅. Eating more nuts and healthy fats is deffo on the asap to do list!! Xx
I have followed from the start, tried similar things, but what I appreciate the most is that you are real. There aren't many women doing hair care video's with hair like us, and so I can't relate to them. All of them have nice curls or super thick hair which makes me wanna shave my hair off lol. TYSM for being real, track all the data, which is a pain for sure. I have been with you through the years and made me just realise how much I am having same issues, but it didn't give me insecurity, it gave me support and relieve that besides the terrible time I went through (which affects hair a lot!) I tried a lot. Sometimes I think I neglected myself, but getting disappointed is a part of life sadly. Thank you, what a relief! And on top of that, your hair looks gorgeous!!!!
Your hair looks so pretty and has improved so much! Also you seem much happier and at ease with it compared to your last hair journey. I really love those videos, as I am just as fancy about hair and on my journey to waist length ♡
Here is to the dry hair girlies ( I was one too): you gotta use the leave in daily and the oil daily. It will fix the majority of the dry hair problems. And switch the conditioner for a hair mask. It doesnt have to be on for 10 minutes every time, but it basically does the same job as a conditioner but way more intense hydration. And since we use a leave in daily the conditioner in the shower can be switched out easily.
For the oil on the ends, apply to mostly dry but not completely dry hair. Like 90% dry. Oil is like silicone, it doesn't really absorb into the hair and provide moisture. It coats it and smooths and seals the outer cuticle layer. A little hydration getting sealed in instead of oil on dry hair can make a difference.
proud to say I'm one of those who ALREADY HAS SEEN YOUR "RECOMMENDED BY COMMENTS PRODUCTS" VIDEO!! AND YES IT WAS GOLD THANK YOU SM FOR YOUR SERVICE. ❤
omg! i used to watch you when i was younger when you had been posting the first few videos of your hair journey, would love to see a longer one explaining everything youve been through to get where you are now!
I have to say, i agree that air drying your hair is not for every hair type and country. I’m from the south of Spain and my hair used to air dry super well any time of the year. I moved to the UK about 6 years ago and every time I try to air dry I regret it to so much. My hair won’t dry completely and the next day it feels dirty, my roots feel damp and just disgusting. However I have friends here who are able to air dry so it must have to do with your hair type as well. So I feel you!! It’s a struggle
Your hair looks noticeably longer and healthier. Good job. I recommend the Garnier hair filler treatment. I’ve used it twice in the shower already and my hair feels a lot more elastic and smoother. It’s pretty affordable too. And Climaplex anti humidity leave in cream. It’s pretty lightweight and has a lot of those natural ingredients you like.
I like watching your hair videos sometimes, just one small comment on science: The skin does not easily absorb anything. This has been spread by pseudoscience. Skin is our first line of barrier/defence to protect the human body, it hardly absorbs anything - this is why we use carefully designed active ingredients in effective skincare products. (for example retinal - and even this needs carriers in order for the skin to absorb it). Otherwise carry on
I remember back in 2018 when i watched your videos, and in 2019 i finally cut my hair and started over, now in 2025 i have my hair all the way down to my tighs🥹 and here i am watching you still❤
wow your hair look so much thicker !! OK so i have the same hair problem as yours , struggling since 2020 , all I can say stay away from shea moister STAY AWAY from every thing that marketed as "natural" brands the cause terrible buildup and breakage and eventually hair loss , buy that color fanatic leave in I also use it made my ends stronger and thicker, use sulphate every wash , wash every 2 days to have a good scalp (good scalp= hair growth) all other thing u do is so good , my hair finally has been growing thicker.. the masks I use (no conditioner only masks after shampoo) garnier papaya 3in 1 - olaplex8 (very hydrating 0 protein) and oils , Argan - kerstase .
Since I am taking vitamin D, Vitamin K2 and Magnesium, my hair got less translucent at the ends. Because less hair falls out and more hair can get long. And I never use pure Shampoo. I mix a little with water in an empty bottle. My hair is less dry now.
You are doing great!! Only thing I'd say is I have similar hair problems to you and SheaMoisture products are too heavy for fine delicate hair in my experience. You might want to invest in something much lighter!
Wow Typology looks like a nice brand :D also as someone who is growing out a fringe don't cut one 🤣 it's been such a pain I really should get one of those clip on ones.
People say blowdrying is harmful because they're quoting each other and the origin of this claim comes from the actually harmful practice of stepping out of the shower with drenched hair and putting a blowdryer on the hottest setting less than a few inches away from the hair to get it completely dry as quick as possible
My hair COMPLETELY changed after I started using Davines. Like night and day. I didn’t even know my hair could do what it did. I specifically use the Minu and Melu ones but they have several others depending on your hair type. It doesn’t test on animals and it has no bad crap in it too which is my primary reason for trying it. But also bc my hairdresser used it on me and I literally almost started crying in the salon 😊
If you want to have a silky smooth straight hair in the morning you have to try securing the style with the hair wrapping technique silk press girlies use. In my country its called "nero" but its basically a technique where you wrap your hair around your head and put a tight bonnet on top
I've slowly been cutting out the dyed parts of my hair and now I'm thinking I'll either grow it long or keep it collarbone length.. but my main goal is too keep it soft and have that healthy bounce to it ❤
😊❤ I love your hair advice videos. Thank you for trying the Nioxin kit I recommend last month. I just turned 46, and my hair was thinning on the top of my head. My son bought me the Nioxin #3 kit. But I only ever used just the shampoo and conditioner. The scalp spray made my scalp very itchy. So combined with Nioxin, I use Nizoral shampoo. I love how long and healthy shiny my hair is now. And I dont really have grey hairs yet. Happy New Years!! Xox ❤❤
we now have the same haircut 😅 i had waist length hair where all my hair was the same length and tbh it was extremely annoying. it got tangled so quickly and i feel like it was just hanging down. now i have the layers and it feels so much better.
5:15 SheaMoisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Leave-In is something I've been using for a while now. I bought the 3rd bottle not so long ago. It's rich and really moisturizing, love it! But I have to say my hair is too different from yours to say if it will feel the same to you.
Idk if anyone mentioned this but Nixon is something you would ALWAYS NEED TO USE once you stop people report loosing hair.. bc Nixon has a ingredient to help hair growth so once you stop using it you could experience hair loss bc your not getting the ingredients in other shampoos. Do some research on it before you decide to use it .. just a heads up
Happy New Year. I like the L'Oréal bond builder it is a fantastic product please try to use it more. I dislike shea moisture with a passion. I would suggest you throw it out and try the conditioner in the L'Oréal bond builder line or their hydration mask it's in a lilac jar. Sometimes there are products that do not agree with our hair or scalp try to stop using the product on your scalp to see with the dandruff goes away. Always remember to check ingredients I avoid coconut oil, mint, tea tree, rosemary anything menthol. I like dimethecone, amodimethicone, castor oil, argan oil, hyaluronic acid, protein peptides.
also with the hair massagers before showering, I use them on my second time shampooing to massage it into my scalp. i don't move it around aggressively but just gently do little circles over different sections of my head and then I rinse the shampoo when I'm satisfied. I shampoo my hair like once a week but I also use a bamboo brush when I wake up and before bed. I think because of this routine I get a lot of scalp stimulation and it's very relaxing even if it's brief.
I do have waist length healthy hair at 57 yrs old! I use TWEAK S& C with microfiber towels, no heat products!! I use scalp messages each time I S & C in shower! Use deep conditioning every other weekend. I shampoo and use scalp message with my head upside down gently! I use WET Brush, silk/sateen pillow cases, brush my hair every evening upside down gently! I use Coconut Oil on middle to ends of hair!! Time-patience and Good products 😉😉.
iam really proud of you that it took literally 7 years of figuring out about your hair right? i really want to see you happy after achieving your dream hair.. but have you ever tried a darmaroller before? its really effective to promote hair growth but i have something else for you.. you will need a big aloe vera that has a lot of gel... i challenge you to put aloe vera to your hair for 7 days or more it really prevents frizz and other hair problems... i have straight brown hair and i have tried it just for fun but it did wonders for my hair. just waiting for you to try it out i hope it helps.. love you 🎀🎀
And also, I realised after using any scalp leaving in for hair growth or any other concern just caused me more dandruff even though the results that they claimed was right😢
I did watch the video, but I think I wanted to see you review them. The video felt a bit flat because of that. I would consider ranking the ones you have tried if you make a similar video. That would have been more engaging.
something ive been doing after i wash my hair to dry it faster (you can still blow dry it but this is beforehand) I use microfiber hair towels and I absorb as much water as I can with these towels. It can absorb alottt of water so its great and then blow drying or air drying wont take as long
Bad cuts are the worst!!! Growing mine out since april last year. The hairdresser gave me the worst short layers, making the rest too thin. I have wavy hair and am not able to style it since then. It looks like crap. The only thing I do is to have the ends trim a little bit. So had since the hairdresser gave me amazing cuts the 3 times before. 😢😢 It looks a bit like yours did in the beginning.
you should use the loreal bond repair treatment more often. 4 times per month. you will notice a big difference. Also, check out abbey yung she has great videos.
Abbey Yung is THE hair resource on RUclips for me- everything is based on her tricology qualification plus experience (she's EXTRA about her hair haha) and her recommendations actually work for me with fine, dry, frizzy and wavy hair ❤
U NEED BANGS!!! Holy cow Girl seriously like I’m not gonna lie I’m just gonna be blunt with you like obviously obviously you’re a beautiful girl but the bangs make you look 10 times hotter !!! Like without them you’re a pretty girl but with them you look like red carpet actress. It’s giving blonde Dakota Johnson.!!!!!!
Beginning to end of my hair routine. I start using Hair Syrup, mainly rapunzel and scalp superfoods. I use a fragrance free shampoo by Green People, or Dehlicious Rosemary Shampoo. I use a hair rinse, any lamellar water works the same. I use the Living Proof gloss shampoo. I end with Brio Geo be kind be gentle oat leave in conditioner with the hair syrup leave in hair oils. I air dry and my hair is glossy and healthy, it is beyond waist length and I have been growing it for only 3 years. I sleep with a silk hair cap and pillows (silk not satin) and I use the La Bonne Bose brush every day. I will happily send you any of these products to try and they are my ride or dies.
can you please do a review of the kerastase chroma range ? i remember you briefly mentioning it in a video and saying that it was no good, i would love a thorough review to see if it's worth buying
I will suggest to stick to the pureology colorfanatic leave in conditioner. I always comeback to pureology leave in conditioner after trying out other leave ins.
Do not use shea moisture. It is WAY too heavy for your hair trust me, as it is made for curls and coils. Even with my curly hair it is still too heavy, it will cause so much build up. It’s mostly the best for coils.
I’m not sure if anybody has recommended this before, but Brazilian hair care products ARE that girl. I was just there visiting family and my hair was significantly softer and shinier. To make sure it wasn’t just the water down there making that huge difference, I brought my favourites over to Canada and the results are still there. Anything by the Siage line from Eudora is MAGICAL. I highly recommend the Nutri-Rose line, all of it - the shampoo, conditioner, mask, leave in, etc. The Glow Expert line is also amazing, if you can get it in the UK!
@@SofiaCavalcante i thought haskell was kind of mid for my hair😭 like not bad nut not different from other products I tried. the only line thats truly made a difference in how it feels was the Nutri-rose line from Eudora🥰
There’s not really much to update on which is why I haven’t made another video. I’ve had no problems with them so far except they have stained a bit but not too noticeably thankfully x
Try using the massager while ur actually shampooing, thats what i and a lot of others do, i always double shampoo since i use oil masks before, and on the second shampoo, thats when i use the scalp massager, i never really do it for the full ten minutes though
@ you have to lift it at every section and use small scrubbing motions, it doesn’t move that smoothly through the hair so to stop it tangling it has to be done in small sections
I sometimes do, but I have found that I prefer using my fingers for shampooing because I can really feel exactly where on my scalp I’m getting too, and it’s more thorough for me personally :)
Do you have plans of getting a Brazilian blowout? It helps tame frizz although it might stretch your curl pattern. So if you prefer having straight hair than curly, maybe you could look into that.
She already got a kératine treatment ages ago and said she prefers not to do it. Also I personally find that Brazilian blowouts and the maintenance is just very expensiv3 🤷♀️
@@messmessy385thank you. I haven't seen that video i guess. It's pretty cheap in my country. Could also do a DIY. Not sure if it's the same with keratin treatment though, seems like it's a different treatment from where I came from.
I tried the hair oil in 2022 and I dint like it personally it was to heavy for my hair did smell god but made ma hair feel heavy and greasy I have oily hair btw
I watched a vidéo a girl said to user leave in with water and water your ends everyday my hair isnt that dry but my ends are a différent stroy i can cut my Split ends one day and 2 days later i have a new splits😢 but with this methode i water my hair hh in the morning or before brushing it and no Split so far
I’ve tried every hair product under the sun but the biggest difference in my hair was made by LAMELLAR WATER any brand you can get try it my hair was super shiny no frizz super soft used the one from Redken💕
I tried the upside-down blow drying and it's pretty good! Half the time, more than half the result. Also, fuck the no-heat-tools moral police. Hair is dead stuff on the outside of your body that grows back. If you want to enjoy it styled and chop it off in a couple years when it's damaged, who is anyone to say that's bad??
You didn't mention not cutting hair. People chop off a piece of their hair every 2 months and then they make surprise pikachu face that their hair is shorter. Split ends don't matter because nobody notices them anyway.
You're at waist already! True waist is where your side dips in or where the band of high waisted pants sit. You mean you're actually trying to grow to hip. :) (A lot people get waist and hips confused.) You DO know what that french phrase translates to, right? 😅
And for some volume, try a high loose bun. And a tip, instead of using a scrunchie or hair elastic, I find that securing it with a small claw clip two gives the best curls
YOUR HAIR LOOKS INCREDIBLE
Yessss it improved sm

I have to say, i agree that air drying your hair is not for every hair type and country. I’m from the south of Spain and my hair used to air dry super well any time of the year. Kind of disappointing to see her take sponsorships from clean beauty brands--- they're not based on science, just the appeal to nature fallacy 😕
Yup - imagine if skin absorbed all these big molecules, we would live ill! I actively boycott any brand with these claims
Ohhh really didn't know that
I don't know, in my experience recovering from severe deficiency, I used several nutrients transdermally with great success.

It’s better to blow dry your hair than leave it to naturally dry or worst go with wet hair to sleep, in wet conditions bateria grows
And can also cause hydral fatigue which compromises the hair integrity
Be cautious about using hair oils or serums after washing if ur gonna use heat as some say on the back not to use them before heat
Some like the olaplex one can be used but not all
This one I believe is actually a heat protectant too
You can get some that also have heat protection
Matrix bonding mask .. 30 us dallor but has a lot of product!!
It's so lightweight and detangles like a dream.. if you wanna try out a new mask

Honestly the L'Oréal wonder water is so good
Girl do not sleep on Dove repair shamppo and conditioner it is amazing and its recommended by Abby Yung the hair youtuber.
Yeah, it’s not bad ! X
can you please do a review of the kerastase chroma range ? i remember you briefly mentioning it in a video and saying that it was no good, i would love a thorough review to see if it's worth buying
I love your cute ruler/scale ❤❤
Ha ha, I’ve had it since I was a kid! Xx
can we just acknowledge HOW MUCH effort you put into your videos it’s truly so amazing and helpful 🤍 + your hair has been looking so great!!
I love her videos, I get excited whenever she posts a new one 😊
Thank you so much that means a lot. I’m so glad you enjoy. Xxx 💗✨🙏🏼
When hair is wet it's the most fragile. I blow dry my hair in every 2 days and don't have any split ends
I will suggest to stick to the pureology colorfanatic leave in conditioner. I always comeback to pureology leave in conditioner after trying out other leave ins.
Oh interesting thanks for sharing ! X
About the hair mask video- I was never notified about it? Maybe other people experienced the same thing.
I think it's just the RUclips algorithm, sometimes videos don't go viral sometimes lower quality ones get millions of views 🤷♀️
Are you still using a red light scalp helmet ? Has it helped ❤?
Me gustaría saber como haces para llevar el control de todo, osea, la libreta que muestras con rutinas
Herbal essence tea tree!! I promise you. Use it!
Yeses, I have really curly hair and they just my curls so glossy and juicy
Oh eudora isn't even the good stuff. Haskell is where its AT
@@SofiaCavalcante i thought haskell was kind of mid for my hair😭 like not bad nut not different from other products I tried. the only line thats truly made a difference in how it feels was the Nutri-rose line from Eudora🥰
@@bellalobela well ill keep that in mind and see if it works for my hair as well, i have so much frizz
Love ur hair videos
Can we get a composite teeth update? Have you had to get yours redone yet?
Yeah I've thinking about that too
There’s not really much to update on which is why I haven’t made another video. I’ve had no problems with them so far except they have stained a bit but not too noticeably thankfully x
i LOVE the hair videos
Try using the massager while ur actually shampooing, thats what i and a lot of others do, i always double shampoo since i use oil masks before, and on the second shampoo, thats when i use the scalp massager, i never really do it for the full ten minutes though
Whenever I use that hair massager while shampooing I feel like it just causes my hair to break off at the roots
I was not prepared to get rizzed the F up in french
Bahahahah!!!
The BRATZ!!!! Omg 😭😭
My hairdresser always tells me to NEVER use oil because it tends to dry hair in long term perspective
I think what you do wrong is maybe changing products frequently. Try sticking to one for about 7-8 months
:) amazing video!
Thanks! 😊 xxx
Would you try subliminals?
Try palmers products
I’ve tried every hair product under the sun but the biggest difference in my hair was made by LAMELLAR WATER any brand you can get try it my hair was super shiny no frizz super soft used the one from Redken💕
I tried the upside-down blow drying and it's pretty good! Half the time, more than half the result. Also, fuck the no-heat-tools moral police. Hair is dead stuff on the outside of your body that grows back. If you want to enjoy it styled and chop it off in a couple years when it's damaged, who is anyone to say that's bad??
Hey don’t know if you understood what you said in French but it was ‘would you like to sleep with me’ 😂😂
Sure, Its from the song lady marmalade and the movie mulin rouge. Its a famous sentence in europe.
😂😂😂
You didn't mention not cutting hair.
People chop off a piece of their hair every 2 months and then they make surprise pikachu face that their hair is shorter.
Split ends don't matter because nobody notices them anyway.
i cant find where to buy a good clip on fringe :/
Check the link in my description, Mine was from eBay. Xx
You're at waist already! True waist is where your side dips in or where the band of high waisted pants sit. You mean you're actually trying to grow to hip. :) (A lot people get waist and hips confused.)
You DO know what that french phrase translates to, right? 😅
As someone sho speaks french, I was really shocked when she was talking in french 😂
Tbh I really like wearing a low bun over night. You will wake up with blow dry like curls
And for some volume, try a high loose bun.
And a tip, instead of using a scrunchie or hair elastic, I find that securing it with a small claw clip two gives the best curls
