I’ve been watching your videos I find them informative and entertaining. We have a 2023 RL had a few issues but nothing we couldn’t handle,so far.
Which major issues have you been dealing with?

@@Wayne-e2f glad you are enjoying the videos! Thanks for watching!!
We have had most of the major issues fixed at this point. This footage is from a few months back… we are slowly catching up on editing haha. But as of this week our electric heat element quit and luckily it was already booked in to get all the timberline hoses replaced next week because they are kinked off. It’s never ending issues popping up for us it seems.

@@darcyandtess well that is shitty, what issues came up that indicated the timberline hoses were all kinked? So no issues with the Pro master?
      Thanks !

@@Wayne-e2f promaster itself has been amazing. We have a couple little bugs in the infotainment center but they are known issues at Ram with no solution as of now. The major issues are just with the Airstream built side. We told them about the kinked hoses a year ago but they did not fix them. We noticed them when we were digging around when other things weren’t working properly. If you take off the cover under the passenger side of bed next to the vent you can see your hoses to the vent and whether they are kinked. Our heater performance has slowly become worse and they are almost kinked completely at this point so we finally got them to approve the fix.

@@darcyandtess is the issue with Ram the monitor not activating ? That was the first thing I dealt with by taking of the ground cable for a bit.
Did you guys find a solution to the dust issue?
I’m definitely going to take a look at those hoses now!
      Are your dogs Australian Shepard?
      Thanks for responding so quickly!🙂

@@Wayne-e2f no, the monitor turns off randomly and resets a bunch of settings.
Our next video will show the solution to the dust issues.
Our dogs are both mini aussies. One is a little bigger than he’s supposed to be and one a little smaller so we get the best of both worlds😂

I think Air Stream should start covering the costs of the 'required' airbnb or accommodations when 'their' unit has to be returned for repair while under warranty....
Still looking but the repair work on new units pretty much seems to be across the board suggesting an overall quality issue..... Not a good reflection on the industry and making me very hesitant on jumping in and buying new.

@@bernie.b Airstream had basically treated us as one big inconvenience to them. We are lucky that we found a dealership that squeezes us in when we discover issues otherwise we would be in an even worse situation. But neither of them cover accommodations unfortunately and third party warranty says it’s not a trip interruption so they don’t help out either.
They definitely have a huge quality issue and I would never recommend an airstream after all of this!

@@darcyandtess Sorry to hear you have had to go through all this on a fairly expensive purchase..... Definitely not what you signed up for or would ever expect with a new rig.
When I started looking I was considering nothing but new but as I research I might actually decide on something not after 2020 and then do the upgrades that will suit my needs. Just seeing so many problems with new rigs has really helped me cool my jets and delayed my buying this year.
