omg so glad you checked this out, it's one of SVTs most overlooked choreos because of its subtlety, so i think it's easy for a lot of non-dancers to not think that much of it, but as you said it's brilliant in it's subtlety and i think it captured the essence of the song perfectly I'd love to see you react to Clap next, since the ending formation of Without You is actually the beginning formation for Clap (this choreo is a transition between don't wanna cry and clap)
Finally this song gets the recognition it deserves!! The shrug bit, they're singing "shall I try to change", which sums up the whole song. It's kind of the moment in between when you want to stop being sad and you know you have to move on, and the moment you really let go of the sorrow which is later explored in Clap so it really fits as the bridge between Don't Wanna Cry and Clap. It's probably why they linked the choreographies, to kind of signal the change because after Clap, the love storyline that began with Adore U neatly ends and Seventeen began exploring more general themes like hurt and comfort and fear etc with their title songs. Anyway, thank you so much once again for always taking the time to highlight cool parts and give your insight!
Thank you~It's been a while since you checked Seventeen last time. I feel like it's still a huge misconception for people to believe only aggressive or hard-beat dance moves equal to powerful dance, which is not true. Seventeen's choreo shows the public subtle and powerful dance can be expressed through softness.
So glad you reacted to this, it's one of my favorites hehe ☺️ It's actually a trilogy so it's Don't Wanna Cry then Without You, and then Clap comes last! Would be amazing if you checked out the Clap dance practice too!
This choreography is soooooo underappreciated but seriously it's one of my top favourites choreographies of Seventeen. Really really up there. Most reactors don't react to this caz it doesn't get recommended as much. So I am so happy you reacted to this! Thank you!
I appreciate the segments of how you react! Its subtlety is hard to execute because if one misses a step, it would be easily seen. The control and subtlety of the choreagraphy were well-executed. Kudos to the choreagraphers & SEVENTEEN - they know how to maximize 13 dancers to create great imageries!
Another SEVENTEEN content!! 😭🙏✨ I'm so happy you react to this one bcs who says simple moves are bad, it's not 😂 Also, super agree on what you said that with Seventeen, it's different experience everytime. It's very exciting to see their new releases bcs we don't know what to expect, but we know it'll be great anyway.
Omg SEVENTEEN! Been a while. Thanks for this! Really love how their performances always brings glee to their fellow performer/dancer reactors. Nice to see people genuinely enjoying watching them.
Just a heads up, I forgot to change the title card which is why it says "NCT 2018 Black On Black." Other FAQ and repetitive comments: 1. "Can you react to [insert your favorite artist here]?" Yes. Patreon: patreon.com/emeroyb on the request tier. 2. SPAMMING = banning. GTFOH with that shit. 3. "You should react to Studio Choom." I have. The ones I've done get blocked. 4. "They did this in 2x speed." That's nice. 5. "It's just a practice." Clearly you've never been in a competitive or professional rehearsal. Want early access to content? I deeply appreciated the Supernatural references, from now on it'll be difficult for me not to think of The8 as the Castiel of Kpop! Thank you for this interesting evaluation, your insights make me appreciate these talented young men even more! Love from an Italian Carat mom ❤️🇮🇹🥕🙋
But clap indeed had the impact...like that powerful intro never fails to give me goosebumps... I sometimes wish seventeen just promote each and every song as a single cuz all of them are just so amazing and deserve to go viral!
Please reacts to other of their choreography. They are considered one of the groups with the best choreography and the greatest synchronization. I recommend "Getting Closer", "Fallin' Flower" and "Home; Run"
what ok I get the castiel (kinda, I think) but the kpop's dean? whaaat 😅 the choreo feels lowkey which suits the song so well.. agree the shrug and walks feels so impactful
This trilogy goes from don't wanna cry - without u - clap. You should watch clap now.
The continuation of this is clap, if u see their last position/formation here is also the beginning of clap choreo 🤩
up!!

also, the ending choreo of this song is the beggining of their song Clap

Omg another supernatural fan who is a carat!!
Nice to meet you😂🤟
there is a reason without you was a title track contender but they went with clap in the end for the overall concept of the album
But clap indeed had the impact...like that powerful intro never fails to give me goosebumps...
I sometimes wish seventeen just promote each and every song as a single cuz all of them are just so amazing and deserve to go viral!
