I like that he and Skullgrin are basically the same. He’s the generic troop right off the assembly line, while Skullgrin is the guy that something went really wrong and he became a grotesque version of the same concept.
Legacy United Quake is a litmus test. Pure of heart robot enjoyers touch him and have more fun than expected, while those tainted with evil touch him and find hate in their hearts
Good news: The Spinister that comes packaged with Topspin in the recently revealed Amazon exclusive Wreck 'n Doom two-pack finally has his Targetmaster partners five years since his release!
Thank you so much for mentioning the issues with the treads. Legacy Bludgeon was one of my most hyped figures to own- but for a number of reasons, including the treads, actually owning it was a bit of a bummer. That said, I'm glad people can still enjoy him and Quake! Just felt so heard right now, is all :P
Huh, I'm in the opposite boat as far as the transformation goes; I really like how the legs convert, it's a pretty clever bit of engineering that turns his treads into shins with virtually no gaps in them, but I'm less impressed with his top half conversion, especially since that results in the lacking turret section of the tank. Still a great figure, just wish the tank mode was a bit better
Most of my G2 stuff is actually modern figures in G2 paint jobs. I have been slowly picking up some vintage G2 figures from my childhood though. I guess I could do a top ten of G2 but it would ultimately be a mix of vintage and modern. I probably would wait on it til I get a chance to acquire some specific pieces I want though, like G2 Dreadwing, for example is one I've been looking to get again as he was a favorite of mine that I no longer own.
I do have to wonder why the wheels are going away. At least on this guy and to a much lesser extent the TFOne Megatron I could see the tread pieces being a bit too thin to accommodate wheels without compromising the durability. The Tarn/Bludgeon mold, on the other hand, has fake wheels which is just a little too much of a tease. Loving your take on the character!
I cut out a bit about tarn having fake ones. It was getting too cynical and I was feeling too lazy to transform him to tank mode. But yeah it is a bit frustrating. I assume it was a cost cut
You made that leg transformation look smooth!

Legacy United Quake is the core of my collection. He's my first ever Transformer, and I can't imagine what would've been without him.
I'm loving the new thumbnail style
Thank you!
Legacy Quake puts his Titans Return figure to shame. lol

I can't argue with the results, Just not big on the method
Have you ever thought about making a video showcasing your G2 Transformers collection?
