This is a great video! I have a question about the overall padding for the embossed- the Lillebaby website says that "The padding is left out to make it super lightweight for effortless babywearing." so is it not as comfortable for baby because of this? And is there less support because of this?
Kimberly Laux I personally prefer the Airflow over the All Seasons. I like that the pocket is always accessible and the added mesh on the two side panels provides quite a bit of extra ventilation. If you like patterns on your carrier, the Airflow has some on the waistband and straps. The All Seasons has patterns on the panel. Some even have a different pattern on the inside of the zip down panel. It really depends on which features are important to you!
Thank you for the comparison! Is the embossed fabric soft or scratchy? When I think of microfiber I think of the microfiber material that's in diaper inserts and cleaning cloths which is super scratchy and dries your hands out if you handle it too much.

This is probably a silly question but how would the air flow do for sun protection? I'm due with a baby in early July so I know I need a carrier with lots of air flow for baby wearing during the hot months but I'm skeptical about the all mesh carrier.
Savanna W. The airflow is quite good at sun protection of the body but you will need to be aware of the arms, legs and head because depending on how baby is positioned, those may be exposed. A light muslin blanket can be used draped over for more coverage and is still pretty breathable. You can also wear a large brimmed hat to help provide shade for baby. Because sunscreen isn't recommended for newborns, you'll want to try to stay in the shade as much as possible when outside and baby's skin is exposed. Congratulations!
