- Hey everyone, Happy New Year! In this vlog I have some really interesting stuff for you mechanical, engineering, motorsports, and engine fans. I dig into and tear down the Proline Hemi Engine from Goliath. I'll walk you through most of the engine and its components, some really cool stuff and I think you will really enjoy it!

Hey Dave, that was an interesting video. I didn't know you had a hemi engine. These are the videos that I'm into. Don't get me wrong, love the race videos. I was a mechanic when I was younger and would love to watch your builds. Take care, be safe and good luck.
Great video Dave. I have built many Big Block and Small Block Chevys and a few Fords. Really like the way that Hemi has everything oil ringed.
I'm really impressed that engine didn't come apart with the cam lobe looking like that!

Also a fully prepped track start to finish for hook and safety. I've got a nice 1969 restored Camaro for sale how about you guys all race for it? I've got to get rid of it I'm sitting down everything and could use some help thanks.
Super nice setup Dave. Says a lot for Proline and there reliability. These engines cop it and still keep rollin. love it.

Alan Johnson is a mechanical genius. I remember when he developed the Oldsmobile DRCE in Blaine's Alcohol Dragster. He is one of the best in the industry.

Thanks for taking time to share what’s going on. That engine is like jewelry. From what I could see the bores are like new. Be safe and congrats on your successes....and failures. All part of it. I’m a carpenter/contractor and have been in business for 42 years. I’m 72. The last 3 work days have been a maximum challenge with changes and very slow progress but at the end of each day I know I gave it hell and feel good. Just as your last video I found it be very informative for some of us we see the car go fast and feel that is it. This shows the time money skills and knowledge needed to be one of the best race car driver all the time.

Dave , been a fan since the start of the OG show, then realized I had seen you Chief and AZN on pinks years before! Your ride was flying at the end of NPK so, I fully expect you to be in the top 5 next season! I really think the 405 has the potential to have 4 maybe 5 guys in the top 10 next year. Thats a testament to proline engines! They must b bad ass, and durable
i love the bolt in the mount of the engine stand. i think every stand comes with a new pin or handle to rotate when new but somehow they all wind up with a bolt in the lock hole after a while.
