Reinventing an old sound(which was great) and bringing it back in a new way. Now that's how bands evolve. This could easily be one of the smartest music career choices ever, because the 90's grunge/rock scene was in a way short lived. Bringing this back has so much potential. Just a beautiful song.

seether and silverchair are generic major-label grunge so fuck that and alice in chains is way to metal to even mention them in the same sentence with nirvana...

vaultsuit Both Seether and Silverchair were highly influenced by Nirvana. I think it's awesome bands like that got signed and gave me a chance to listen to modern grunge instead of living in the past all the time.

For anyone still pissed they broke up, Taylor Madison is in another band called Webbed Wing. They have a few songs that still have a Superheaven vibe.
It’s a good band! And Superheaven isn’t officially split up; they’re just not writing music anymore (at least that’s what they kind of said in 2016?) They were gonna play Sound & Fury last year but obviously couldn’t due to the pandemic.
Seeing how Taylor and Jake are both active with music right now, we might have something to look forward to in Superheaven. Dunno about Zack or Joe...

More like where Creed and Alice in Chains left off. But I think they helped pioneer a new sound of grunge during the 2010s, just as it was on its last breath. Gotta give them props for that.
