I bought an Enya carbon fiber guitar a few months ago. I love it, it’s not the greatest guitar I have for live performances, but when I’m traveling there is nothing better.
I was recently in a warm, very humid area, and it was stable, sounded great all the time.
Very happy with it.
It’s definitely gorgeous! My wife just used it at one of our shows two days ago and she loved it too

Yeah it sounds great when it’s plugged in! That’s definitely an important thing with an electric acoustic
Carbon Fiber guitars a getting better at a rapid pace, and I expect them to start seriously competing with high end big name brands. The tone of Carbon guitars needs some improvement, as they still sound a bit too metallic, bright, and clangy. I think this could be solved by adding a piece of wood or some other under the bridge to act as a "compressor/tone filter" so warmer tones are transferred to the soundboard. I'd also like to see a "snakehead" shaped headstock design for better tuning stability and aesthetics.
I like the Enya guitar, and it looks like they are headed in the right direction, and placing the soundhole in the upper bout is a good move, as it increases the critical resonant area, and floating the upper fretboard also avoids impeding the soundboard from fully vibrating. Very nice guitar case. A bolt-on neck model might make it an even better Travel Guitar. Thanks

I have the ENYA X4 Pro. Nice guitar only thing I wish they did was to put the controls more forward on the upper bout. I find them a bit hard to reach during a gig when I am playing standing up...

VERY nice review. No others have mentioned the case straps which, as a traveling musician, I find frees a hand for wrangling luggage. My only concern in ordering one is that I am hesitant to do so when I have not had it in my hands and played it.
The case is truly amazing and the icing on the cake!

You reviewed a more budget Enya model recently. TBH, I'd like to see a comparison review with the Joytar J1 and Blue Lava. (Now on the correct video.) Edit to add: yeah, the Nova.
I do like both of them, but this one just “feels” right and I like it more than the Nova personally
Hi - great video and well done! How would you say the natural acoustic volume of the X4 Pro Mini compares to the Nova Go (in white on your wall)? If the X4 Pro Mini is 100%, what would you say is the relative volume of the Nova Go?
X4 definitely feels like it’s louder/more full sound just naturally 👍

I purchased the Enya mini from Amazon, and there’s a lot I love about the guitar.
What I don’t understand is how to change out the rechargeable battery, if you get to a gig, and the battery is dead.
I wrote that email question to Enya and they did quickly respond, telling me to refer to page 5 in the manual.
Page 5 said nothing about battery swap outs.
I also saw in the small print that the battery should be removed if the guitar isn’t going to be used for a long period of time.
Can anyone answer the battery question?

I just make sure to charge it after a gig and I always have a USB cable if I need to charge it before the show by chance if I forgot 👍

Ok so should I get the mini or the full size? I was looking at the full size but I'm only 5'6" and I live in a camper so maybe i should consider the mini? hmmm🤔
I personally would go full size if you plan to gig with it, but I don’t mind the mini personally 👍

I haven’t heard of that, but the neck is very nice and not heavy
I loved my Enya until the back started cracking without ever being dropped or bumped. So surprised they wouldn’t repair.
I’m surprised it cracked. Carbon fiber is extremely durable!
@@ScottUhlMusic Me too. I thought for sure they’d want to see it to know maybe there’s a seam that’s weak in their production etc. but no, they said “it must’ve been dropped or banged up.” Disappointing. They suggested putting a sticker over the cracks. I fear they’ll spread.

En ouvrant le colis ,j'ai vue que la pile au lithium etait a part, je veux dire NON DANS LA GUITARE, et en plus ,elle était complètement cassé.
Donc ma question est la suivante, " est ce que la pile au lithium aurais du être DEJA en place dans la guitare ???
Ou est ce a moi a trouvé le moyen de la remettre en place a l'intérieur de la guitare, évidemment en achètent une nouvelle pile au lithium ?
Ou dois je renvoyé le tout a Amazon qui m'a livré la guitare ? Vont ils accepté de l'en livré une autre en reconnaissant que c'est une erreur de la part de la sociétés ENYA...???MERCI POUR VOTRE REPONSE.

@@ScottUhlMusic Was asking because someone else had a video and they said they had to have it adjusted right away and wished that it came adjusted right but he said the guitar was great after that and stayed good. Was wondering if you experienced that same. He did know how to adjust guitars himself so he would know but that also might by why he felt it needed it.
Still too brassy sounding... maybe older strings would help. I personally don't like the sound hole in my face. Nice and reasonable price but
I'll stick to travelling with my Kay and cheap 150 yamaha 3/4 size.

I actially think its pretty crap metallic sounding and damp. They carbon fibre cant compete yet wood just has a better resonance...I ainr a rechno phobe i think the lag hyvive is a wonderful guitar but this just dont cut it
Everyone has their own opinions for sure… but I literally just finished a gig with this guitar and I love the hell out of it
@@ScottUhlMusic You gigged with it? seriously come on you are having me on ...busking maybe but it aint for a real gig its just a bit of a toy. I aint tried it granted but perhaps you are one of these paid influencers ..(nothing wrong with that we all gotta earn our crust ) But be honest you would not do a 'real' gig with this thing its a camp fire travel thing it aint good enough for the real world. Not saying there aint a market for it but this thro a pro PA aint gunna work.
