The Israeli settlements in Judea-Samaria and Gaza are historically justified. By the 1948-1967 period the Palestinian colonizers had ethnically cleansed all Jews in those regions via many expulsions and massacres.
The moment Israel won the 6 day war in 1967, it got legitimised by war effort alone, no matter how you feel about that place even existing. Cause with that logic, if it didn't, then Turkey has been occupying the left side of the Anatolia illegally since 1918.
They should just take the L, remove Israeli settlements, make the West Bank and Gaza their own state, and call it a day. These settlements aren't worth the hassle. By those same standards, Palestinians should have right of return. Time to just stop the expansion, call it quits and move on.
