Great video, guys. One big feature in my opinion is Jaybird's ability to use one earbud, left OR right. The Jabra's is a set master/slave (Batman/Robin), so you must use the RIGHT earbud if you only want to use one (key useful feature for phone calls or exercise/working out when you primarily want to hear your environment while also listening to the earbud). Imagine being able to switch earbuds to either rest your ear on the one side, or to get extended listening by using one then the other.

    • @oliverpolden

Agree. I’m guessing now the Jabra Elite 7 probably has master master. I never liked the bass port on the 75t, it made the bass sound boomy and unnatural. I love the Jaybirds but I didn’t find the fit so good. I seem to be right in the middle of medium and large. Customisable controls on the Jaybirds is better because you have a button and can also tap them as another control.

I have the Active 75t, and they are a great value and performer. But I just bought the Vista 2's for their more secure fit.
I have had issues with having to push the Jabras back into position to get best sound more and more frequently. Then I just did a running event where one bud went flying out of my ear near the finish line (I was reaching for a flag from a volunteer to carry over the finish - it was a Memorial Day event.) That prompted me to look for something more secure for running.

Initially I had similar slippage issues when doing vigorous exercise. After I switched to the Comply foam eartips, the fit was much tighter and the sound much better !

    • @captaincaveman9411
      @captaincaveman9411 2 года назад

@CuriouStan. They are v similar in terms of function. But to a basshead like me, the 75t just sounds better. The bass is much tighter and hard hitting. The passive noise isolation itself is great. I hardly ever need to use the ANC. Most of all, it’s cheaper !

Yes, but they have so many issues about the case charging...Headaches and seems a common issue. I am returning one set to Amazon, so frustrating, o played till descharged and was happy. No way to recharge them off even hard reset, wireless charging, change cables etc... none is working. Now I ve bought the the Jabra elite 3 🤞which at the present offer is very tempting at Amazon! Some even says that sound better and sound is more natural. No ANC thought and only EQ presets, not customisable 😕. Well, I think I ll buy the 75t again and keep em both! I am not so tempted to the 85t, really.. Is all about budget really, we all know that.. Great channel smart review guys I browse many reviews channels before you but I like here, thanks.

Had the jabra elite active 75t for almost 2 years before I dropped on into the sink but luckily I had warranty at best buy. I swapped for the jaybird vista 2 and have had them for about 2 weeks. I'm returning and going back to the jabra elite active 75t.
    Cons of Vista 2
    Uncomfortable in ears
Sound sucks even after messing with eq
    Sound cancelling is horrible
Absolutely hate them and I use to love the corded jaybirds
    Pros
    They stay in 🤷‍♂️
    Jabra elite active 75t
    Cons
    None....
    Pros
Can run and sweat in them with no issues.
    Sound 💯
    Comfortable 💯
    Ease of use and buttons💯
You won't hear anything with noise cancelation
    Better call quality
Did I mention way better Sound?
My main reason for going back is Sound, Comfort, noise cancelation.

I've been using the Jabra 75t active for a couple of months. I like them, but don't love them. I may try the jaybirds when I upgrade again. My ears seems to be two different sizes on the inside so the right headphone like to fall out if I don't take the time to twist it in. The hear through feature is useful, and I use these all day at work.

I just got the Vista 2's and they work great with my Galaxy S10, but they suck with my Garmin Venu 2 due to a poor Bluetooth connection. When I try to listen to music outside, the connection is so bad that the music is unlistenable. I am currently working with Garmin to solve this issue. I truly believe that this is a Garmin issue and not Jaybird's because Garmin recently did a firmware update that ruined my original Vista 1's. If you look online, you will see a lot of people experiencing this problem. Beware on getting the Vista 2's if you plan on using them with a Garmin watch.

I tried the 75t and had to send them back. For Jabra to claim these are fitness buds shows they don’t know what fitness buds are. You need at least some mechanism of locking them in your ear. Just making them ear-shaped will keep them in if you’re standing around, but running and jumping will loosen them over time. A real fitness bud does not loosen over time.

That's weird cause I don't own jabras yet but my jaybirds take over 5 seconds to connect which wouldn't be too much of a problem but sometimes they don't connect and when they need to I have to keep them in the case for the 5 seconds and not to mention that they're are many connection issues. Excellent Review. Great chemistry between two of you...
I prefer Vistas in general because fit is incredible... They don't fall out even when I vigorously shake head side to side & up & down...
When working out in gym o can be completely upside down if hanging from horizontal bar & doing situps...
If working on a incline or decline bench they stay put.
If laying on side or doing exercises where I'm raising and lowering head while one ear is facing floor, they don't come out...
    Cycling, they don't come out...
I have 89 presets saved & like flexibility & ease of organizing presets on Vista vs Vista 2s...
I like auto time off feature of Vista...
Bluetooth range is incredible, more than several hundred feet. I think that's combination of phone having bluetooth 5.0...
I've actually left my phone in gym & drove off with car and it wasn't until I was on road that I realized I lost connection & started looking for my phone in car & gym bag before I realized I left it at gym...
I don't know about jabra but vista's are very very rugged & durable, especially Vista 2...
My Vista 2 is scheduled to arrive in next couple of days...
Got them at discount, plus there's a launch kit for those ordering it early from Jaybird...
I've been told the Launch kit is free wireless charger with Jaybird logo... That's got to be worth $30 to $70, but it's included free until supplies Launch Kits set aside for promotion are gone...
    I Love Jaybirds & I'm heavily Biased...
Had X2s, X3s, Tarah Pros, tried Run XT didn't like so returned, Vista & now Vista 2 in couple of days...
Don't think Jzbras can be wireless charged...
Do Jabra have magnetic case that grabs & holds earbuds in? Jaybird earbuds will not fall out of case...
If you're really into sports I'd say Jaybirds are best...
    But it's obvious personal decision...
    Thank for sharing video...

How do you think the vista 2 are compared to Tarah Pro?
I was very happy with the sound quality in Tarah Pro
And also you wrote about cycling. With my Tarah Pro I had no problems. Then they broke and the shop didn't sell them anymore so I changed to beats powerbeats 4. Using them for cycling is super annoying because of wind noise. Do you hear any wind noise while cycling?

I wear skull cap under my helmet when cycling that is tapered...
Comes down on my forehead up to my sunglssses...
And over my ears and slightly below on back of my head
So the Vistas were completely covered by my skull cap...
So I didn't hear any noise whatsoever including no wind noise....
Because I couldn't hear traffic at all, I decided it wasn't safe...
So I bought a JBL Clip 3 that has carabiner clip on one end...
I loop the carabiners clip around button on shirt & have lanyard around collar of shirt that had clip on the end that I loop around carribiner for extra security to prevent from coming loose & falling. Its never come loose but I wear lanyard just same...
I wear very special leggings & compression long sleeve tee that's a little loose and they are both made out of special materials that wick away moisture & perspiration & keep me dry...
They keep me warm when cold or wet & cool when blistering hot...
I use same clothing for cycling, hiking, climbing, even casual walks on road, sidewalks & trails...
I also have full face mask that's also made of great material...
Think of how blue men look when wearing full body suit exc8mine is in three pieces: full head/ face mask, long sleeve tee, full length compression leggings...
      And gloves...
      Cycling
when hot, knuckles & fingers exposed
when cold whole hand & fingers are covered...
Walking, Hiking, wear gloves cover full hands...
I tend to wear full face / head mask because don't have to worry about dust, bugs, other items in air when breathing & cycling hard...
Same applies to hiking on trails that are dusty, insects flying around, etc...
Haven't tried Vista 2 on bike yet but I think it might be ok under skull cap or full head / full face mask...
The Vistas didn't have any ANC nor Surround sense so they didn't pass any ambient environmental noise through to ears...
So long as have good seal between ear & earbuds, they were perfect...
I suspect Vista 2 will be ok under skull cap or full head / face mask because it's layer between buds & wind...
But I haven't tried it yet...
I like Vista & Vista 2 infinitely more than Tarah Pro....
I don't like wires of any kind...
      I love True Wireless Earbuds...
Didn't like proprietary charging cable with Tarah Pros either...
      I use Vistas & Vista 2 everywhere:
Walking, Hiking, Cycling, Gym & Swimming ( breast stroke ) head strays above water....
Vista 2 haven't tried on bike yet
Highly recommend just get a pair of Vista 2 from place that permits 30 day return, then see if they work for you when cycling...
      If not return them...

I actually just had to exchange the Jabra Elite Active 75t for the Jaybird Vista 2. I could not enjoy the Jabras, no matter what EQ setting I have it set to and the Jaybirds sounded great out of the box. The bass was either too much or when I turned it all the way down, it had some extended bass sound on songs I KNOW doesn't have that with any other headphones nor earbuds I had. Not event Vista 2 had the extended bass effect. The mids sounded very quiet and very hard to hear with the 75t but was flat and audible on the Vista 2s.
Pretty much, the Elite Active 75t reminds me of the Beats by Dre series of headphones where the bass is overexaggerated. Some like that, and I consider myself a bass-y kind of person, but it's just too much bass for me. The Vista 2 reminds me of my current Sennheiser HD598 with it's flat frequency and with the EQ set to bass boosted on them. Just doesn't have the open air sound stage like the HD598s but understandable since these aren't open air earbuds. The Vista 2 is worth spending extra over the 75t for me. I only had the 75t for 24 hours before it I exchanged it because of how disappointed I was with the sound quality.

Are the active 75 louder than the jaybird vista? I have the vistas and i saw that discount for the active 75 at best buy.

@@sharkz7902 I'd say they are equally or tad louder than Vista 2 just got ek last night listened a bit and totally impressed with the sound and the build of the active 75t I went with navy color and added pair of my spinfit cp360 eartips these are badass for 99.99 and anc is better than I expected along with the transparency ima put em thru the test today while at work but so far im thoroughly impressed .. don't have sound that the liberty 3 pro has but I wasn't expecting it too but I'd say they're possibly punchier bass and really are fantastic... transparency is Def better on these and 1 test I did was put windows down in car and turn anc and then transparency on while Goin down road.... absolutely no hurricane fn sounds or anything that the Vista 2 did I'd easily and I mean easily would take these over Vista 2

@@wadec6799 good thing, i ordered the active 75 before they sell out quick, went with the all black. I have the vistas but i hear background noise a bit at the gym even on max settings on eq jaybird all. Always wanted to try out the jabra 75. Excited to pick them up today.

@@sharkz7902 if ya got the all black ya got the regular elite 75t cuz I'm pretty sure the active 75t dont come in that color if they had I'd have ordered em too buddy might wanna check that if ya wanted active version but even regular at 79.99 are a steal

the problem with that jaybirds is they straight up do not work with androids. Their own customer service even told me to return and choose a different option
