    I have had Beats Fit Pro for around a week. So far they have been excellent for me. The fit is fantastic and they stay in place on long runs. The other real differentiator as an Apple user is the seamless connectivity. Hard to look past if you are in the apple ecosystem IMHO.

      The BFP are aggressive when pairing with Macs, iPhones and iPads. They just pair with devices when you move near them which saves you a few taps or clicks or even looking at your device.

    Bought the vista 2s a week ago and have been having a HORRIBLE time. The audio stops working when switching between apps on my s21 ultra. Going to return them and try the fit pros.

      Had same problem and phone calls other person couldn't hear me. Other then that I loved everything else. I exchanged them for beats fit pro which have better calls and connections but everything else I prefer the Vista 2.

      I bought the vista 2s and when I tried them on the left earbud cut off for about 5 minutes and then worked again and the sound was static. I am returning these today since I purchased them 2 days ago.

      I have the beats fit pro and they're giving me connection issues. They also go out on one ear sometimes. The different audio modes will periodically switch too

    Thanks for the review... just a few comments :)
    IPX rating: I wish you insisted a bit more on the real-life impact of the IPX4 rating (sweat resistant) while running as in my experience Beats headphones tend to turn off by temperatures as high as -4c (yes... average temp in Montreal in January was -15c). imo, avoid at all cost if you run by cold temps.
    Jaybird Vista 2: Bought a pair in early 01/22 I loved the design, the sound, the app, but paired with a Fenix 5 I was getting static/small drops gradually after listening just sitting at home... While running, static, drops would be frequent (every 5min) and even worse if paired with my Android phone. These known issues still aren't fixed and support actually aknowledges it (I had mine refunded by Logitech).
    Shokz Openrun/Aeropex: Curious not to consider it in this comparison. Following my adventures with the Powerbeats and Jaybird 2 I got the Aeropex and I've had zero issues running by -20c and with connectivity. Audio quality is stellar and it's the safest headphones type to wear while running.

      I returned mine due to always losing connection as well. I still miss them though

      We do cover the real life impact of the IP ratings, just in our climate where it's never that cold. So unless we fly to Canada 🇨🇦 (which we'd love to do btw) it's hard to test freezing temps. In terms of the including Shokz, we're looking at in-ears mainly in this comparison. So they don't really fit here. We do have a video on all but the latest in the Shokz range on the channel though.

    Vista 2 are great but they have to fix the connection problems. Some times I only get sound from the left one, sometimes it doesn't connect at all and other times everything works.. Soo frustrating

      Hi Niklas, see none of us three that tested here has experienced this problem. But that sounds frustrating to say the least.

      I bought the Vista 2’s about 14 months ago. Had no issues whatsoever for the first 10 months. About 4 months ago the trouble started. Left bud quit on me while being away from home 4miles during a run. Charging my left earbud was a problem even though I clean them. This happened quite a few times since. Since a few weeks I have connection problems with my iPhone13. It connects and after a few minutes it will disconnect and immediately it connects again and than disconnects. Finally it disconnects permanently and you have to put them back in the case to connect them again. It’s a pain in the butt. I’ve read that more people have these problems but Jaybird doesn’t seem to be able to solve these problems. A pity though because the earbuds sound great and fit great.

    One other funny thing about the Beats Fit Pro (the Vista 2s may do the same thing). The bottom of the case is magnetic so you can put them on the top or sides of a gym locker.

    • @TheRunTesters
      @TheRunTesters  2 года назад +3

      Hey (Mike here), I'd say the Beats has the punchier bass, but if you get into the EQ settings on the Vista 2, you get something pretty punchy as well.

But the combine review of more than one person reviewing just helps make the review more accurate as their is more opinion. Again thanks! (New subscriber 👍)

      Are the v2 better than the vista 1’s? I have the vista 1’s but having an iPhone that works really well with aac, I’m thinking of selling them and getting the vista 2’s for that codec support, do you think there would be a big difference between SBC and AAC on an iphone? clarity etc

    • @zimmerdane9153
      @zimmerdane9153 2 года назад +1

      @@nathanhassani5366 hopefully I’m not late, but honestly no. The jaybird vista 1 were optimize pretty well which allowed for better connection, charging etc. The aac codex code help a bit in terms of sound quality but in my non-audiophile opinion it didn’t really change the sound. Again with vista 2 you get poor connection, glitchy charging, and poor anc and surround sense. So I would either keep vista 1 and wait for maybe vista 3(if it’s any good) or just buy from another brand. BFP are honestly a good earbud if you’re r using an apple device, soundcore liberty 3 are really good as well.

    Nice review however i am using the vista 2 and i have a major issue with the buds on data calls using voice isolation on the iphones while during a run or in even slight windy conditions. The person on the other end of the call can hardly make out anything i am saying as too much is wind noise is going through the microphone, please help me if there is any setting that needs to be done, thank you !!

    So the Beats have a firmer tip and come with a “bar of soap” case that falls on the floor….. I’m thinking Jaybird for the win then.
