Peltor Sport Tac election hearing protection (quite possibly the best ear defenders)

A review of the Peltor Sport Tac Hearing electronic hearing protection, quite possibly the best electronic hearing available on the market today!

I’ve been using them for a few years now. Very happy and fully sufficient for outdoors shooting. On indoor ranges, however, I always use additional in-ear protection for everything 9mm and above. These 3Ms are quite thin and won’t do it indoors for louder guns for me.

I still love mine, and yes sometimes extra ear protection is needed. We are lucky here in the UK where we have suppressors as standard, makes shooting my more enjoyable.

First question, can it filter or lower other sounds from surroundings? Like working in a construction site with various noises..
This was first video I watched about this product.

There is a volume for other voices and sounds on them it is quite affective at the shooting range.

@@MarkYaylor a close person of mine works with making big metal parts or repairing, with many work related sounds. I wonder how much would this item could help him? With removing loud background noises.

Would these act as a passive ear defender and continue to block noise,
keeping my hearing safe just without being able to hear ambient noise if the battery were to die or do you need to bring a backup?
