    The only way I've gotten the dreadnaught to 100% is to do an outpost. There's a location in Frostland that supplies steel, and I've never been able to do it without that.

    • @Logistical
      @Logistical  5 месяцев назад +6

      Yeah i tried a few times without an outpost, but you definilty need one. ill get the 100% one day

  • @robocop1279
    @robocop1279 5 месяцев назад +21

    The way outpost work is that every 24 hours they send a caravan that has the listed goods to the city and will wait if you don't have storage for them until enough room is made. They are really helpful especially in a new home with just getting a bunch of steam cores if you send your scouts into tesla city

      Wait have you never done that 😳 it's one of the best outposts in the game in my opinion, just be careful and send a scout who doesn't have any stuff because they could get Zapped into crispy bacon

      @@robocop1279 I mean if they can successfully enter it and turn it into an outpost. Sorry for the confusion, its been a couple years since I last played. Also make sure you drop off your goods before going because you will lose them either way, if I remember correctly.

    Not to criticize your methods, but I would have just researched steam steelworks, and assigned 2 atonomatons to them. I have never tried this method, but seeing this video gave me inspiration to try this scenario myself. Keep up the good job man! 👍

    • @Logistical
      @Logistical  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yes you are right, on extreme, you do have to have two steam steelworks and 2 automatons, normal is more lienet with this so i think i did it okay! Thanks for watching!!!

    Heya!
    I saw you struggle with the "Crêve Neige" name.
    Man do I have some trivia for you.
    It's french "Snow Piercer". This is because it is inspired from the french apcalyptic graphic novel "Le Transperceneige" ("The snow breacher") from 1982, in which the world meets a fate similar to that of the Frostpunk universe.
    If this sounds oddly familiar it is because this piece also inspired the 2014 "Snowpiercer" movie
    It's roughly prononciated "Crayv nayj".
    I really like your content. Here's in hoping you keep up.
    Cheers ;)

      and from what I know "Crève" is pronounced like خ sound in arabic. You can put in google trad voice and hear it, it is not like the regular r pronunciation as in "revenir" or "sera", which are more like the غ sound in Arabic.

      I am Moroccan so I speak both Arabic and French hhhhh
      "r" is pronounced in two different ways in French. The first one is the most common, as in words like "revenir" or "sera" which is similar to the غ sound in Arabic. and then you have the other version which is used here in "crève" which is similar to the خ (as in خان/khan) sound in Arabic or the "ch" sound in german.

      I think they do arrive at the main city, however I’m pretty sure this fall of winter home takes place on an alternate timeline, just because you can save different amounts of people. Having 500 people turn up on the main game would be a nightmare 😂

      @sintanan469 5 месяцев назад +4

      The folks that evacuate Winterhome go into the wilderness. No idea where they end up... chances are they died on the dreadnought. Maybe they found a home around a generator somewhere safe.
      The survivors you encounter in A New Home are the result of dialogue options you didn't get on your playthrough in Winterhome --people that fled the civil war, children sent out by the Captain to survive on their own because there was no room on the dreadnought... The people left behind by the dreadnought flee Winterhome and are found by New London.
      If you look at the snippets of story about Winterhome you get during A New Home, what happened is after the food riots that caused the civil war which ripped the city apart, the people couldn't get enough hunters to find food and turned to cannibalism to prevent starvation. It is also implied the rebel Captain you play during the Winterhome scenario turned to authoritarian rule just like his predecessor. It also is implied the rebel Captain dies in the explosion of the generator, not allowed by the refugees, or realizing his choices, remains in the city.
      Finally, in the Last Autumn scenario your foragers can find crates north of Site 113. These crates are loaded with generator parts. Turns out these parts were meant for the Winterhome generator. The foreman of Site 113 is responsible for the generator of Winterhome malfunctioning by keeping those key components. Just think, had the foreman from Site 113 return those crates, Winterhome would have functioned properly and the hundreds of people would have survived...
