All the players have been interchangeable since Justin came in definitely in last 2-3 years. Tyson has definitely evolved. Superb drummer. The RGE just keeps going and sounding fresh
i love everything Robert Glasper & friends do on stage, the singing the playing, all of it. everything comes together so successfully & utterly magical. thanks for posting love!
Robert Glasper is a ridiculously talented musician and composer but he cannot sing at all. Just hire a skilled vocalist to sing. I would be a bit disappointed to pay $200 for a live show and experience him singing so much during the set.
One of the worst shows i ever seen ! He was in central park years ago and it was god awful ! I left , and came back still awful ? I've been going to concerts since the 70s ! I don't have bad memories about performances ! From Labelle to Steel Pluse I don't know how some of the people in these days get credit for for bad playing ? Victor Wooten also ! Terrible ! I heard Ray Chew and George Clinton the other night and it was very good! Stoop Session band from Harlem is far better than Robert ! And they play for free ! I don't know maybe it's a time when music doesn't matter as much and reputation does ? If you hear about Stoop Sessions go hear them!
@@grizzyg43 just self indulgence experimental crap ! It was originally billed as a Birthday show for Roy Ayers and Robert came on first . I play also and I wanted to believe what people were talking about.... Nope!
@@sifx.z1524 It was billed as a Birthday show for Roy Ayers And Robert opened...and was Awful ! It was like he could do anything he wanted and chose self indulgence experimental crap ! It wasn't funky , groovy , hitting , or none of that ? Just strange and non involving ? I hang with PFunk and I totally know when stuff is hitting!
I’m so used to Hodge/Dave playing, but Tyson is killing it!!!
Both groups rip

Please...... Do not sing man....... We fraking love your awesome playing. 😔
@@barisbungybass3577what? I love his voice and singing!
I’m dead 💀
quality of sound.. 2/10///but. ..
Quality of sound is actually 9/10 considering this is most likely shot with a phone. You can hear everything clearly, and great dynamics
Get ur ears checked
Definitely would prefer a guitarist to provide some funky hooks and colors, let alone some compelling solos. No turntables please.
Who cares what u think

Out of curiosity what was bad about the show?
This is definitely not for you and it's very understandable....
There is you not feeling the music, which is fair, but to say Glasper is awful is just not right, man!
