I like to bend the dividers on the header out about 5degrease to help pull crop in if the gps gets a bit tight n wants to leave a strip like early in the vid. Great footage.
Nice shots and that's some serious gardening those McLains are doing ;) . I wish their name was in the youtube description box as well! Thanks for sharing this perspective. It's a cool one!
Very nice video!! I love the way you let us hear the combine instead of some background music! How wide of a straight cut header were they using? 40’ ? And no combine dust either! Seems odd to use Canadians as the dust the combines causes dust is unreal! The water ponds in the back ground are used to flood the rice fields I take it? Great job on the video!!
Growing up in Arkansas I would never think anything about no dust coming from the combine. But if you were to grab the straw coming out of the combine it would be damp. I guess the grain on the rice plant gets ripe before the stalk has time to dry out and I think this is the reason why some places can do 2 harvest in one year. In Northeast Arkansas it is very rare to see someone harvest twice.
Hello, I am Ferney and would like to know when is the date to harvest rice in your farm. I want to learn more about this crop in America. Thanks a lot.
FERNEY ADOLFO YANEZ SEGURA Hello, I'm not a farmer .. I just love farm equipment and agriculture. They usually start harvesting rice sometime in July. Then they'll apply more fertilizer and re flood the fields to harvest a second crop in the fall.
Great video. My name is Eric Zernich. I am a reporter with KATC and I am doing a story today on rice harvesting this year. I was wondering if I could use some of this video for my story.
Hi, would it be possible to share a feedback from farmer, I work for John Deere Africa and one customer would like to change his Lexion for S700 series but he is not really sure about harvest quality in wet straw conditions. Thanks
Lexions are far superior cereals machines in every way. The only reason we run Deere here in Louisiana on rice is because of dealer convenience. We have no lexion dealers local
Some Asian countries still use tools for their Farmers to harvest their crops. They need these vehicles, i think everyone wants to be farmer if these vehicles used.
UNIGROW Microbial Soil Conditioner for Rice Planting: 900grams per hectare. After sowing, Put 75 grams mix with fine soil or water evenly spray in 90 trays (The obvious contrast effect can be seen before seedling and transplanting), The left mixed with wet soil, fertilizer or mixed with water, spray to paddy field once transplanting as early as possible. Effect: 1, Under normal management, the roots are flourishing and the stems mature, yielding more than 30% per hectare. 2, Have a good effect on the prevention and control of rice seedling blight and bacterial wilt. 3. This plot can save 25% fertilizer in that year. Second year can save 40% fertilizer. 4. Milled rice rate can be increased by 3-5% than the general situation, that is, per hundred kilograms of rice can be more than 3-5 pounds of rice. 5. Rice in good quality, equivalent to organic rice. According to our customer’s reflection, only apply 900grams per hectare mixed with fine soil and spray to paddy field is ok, that is so easy, which also can be mixed with any kind of fertilizer, the effect will be much better once mixed with 15 pounds of humic acid per hectare, wechat :+86-18922956602

Do you want to use part of it or link to the whole thing ?
Looks like harvesting grain, but a little shorter and wetter, hence the wider tires.
3:15, deer beds maybe?
那边稻地那么硬,这大收割机敢进地还不带履带?
You commented 2nd crop in October. Will the field be reseeded or will 2nd crop come from regrowth?
Regrowth..
Its called a ratoon crop. They’ll fly on some more fertilizer, reflood and harvest the same crop again.
Nice!!!! It's been a while buddy!!!!!!
Vernon Demaree Thanks! Yea I’ve been eager to get back in the field.. more videos definitely coming !
@@AerialAg alright!!!!! Alright!!!!!! Keep it coming!!! 💪
How well do y’alls 1400 lsw perform compared to the rice and cane tires
I know the farmer seems happy with them. This is the second machine they put them on.
Great job. 👍👍👍
I'm curious to know if that's a draper header or a flex draper.

Raise crawfish in same fields? Heard that somewhere
Some farmers do
Yes they do, this farmer even has his own catering company that uses his crawfish.
Do the Goodyear Optitrac 1400/30 R 46 tires have almost as good traction as rubber tracks? Bye Hans.
Sorry I can't answer that. I'm not a farmer, I just love farm machinery and making these videos.

Thanks. I shot this video with a combination of two drones. My older Phantom 3 Professional and my new Mavic 2 Zoom.
