Thanks very much for your kind words. Many of my best childhood memories were also playing in the fields during harvest. Hopefully you'll make it here one day to see harvest. I'd like to head north one year and see wheat harvest in a couple different states! Thanks for watching, and your English is just fine!

I'm good friends with Anthony and Joe. Glad to see their operation on one of your videos
(Yes Anthony is "retired" but he still goes out there to check on them)

Excellent video! Always enjoy seeing your harvest videos. Corn harvest is just a couple weeks away here in Central Louisiana as well.

Thanks! I'd love to try and catch some corn harvest this year. The price of fuel is making it difficult to make too many long trips though.

Great to see your videos back this year again. I noticed he was keeping that header pretty high, - any particular reason, or didn't they want loads of useless stalk going through the combine. I was slightly surprised the 'grain cart' wasn't on tracks as well. Good video as usual from you. - Greetings from a very hot - (for us) - UK.

Thanks, nice to hear from you Christopher. Mainly b/c the reason you stated, less trash through the machine to be separated the better. Also, this rice will grow a second crop to be harvested in the fall. So that may play a part also but I'm not 100% on that.

@@AerialAg Thanks for your reply. - I guessed that was the reason, - that's most interesting to know they can get a 2nd crop off of the same 'planting'. Will they have to then to re-plant for next years crop. - I take it this farm doesn't go in for Crawfish activities like (I believe) some do. - When you flew high was that the actual farm you stated at the beginning of your video, if so, I was amazed at the number of trucks and pieces of equipment they had. . . Chris.

Yes, after the ratoon crop they will replant and no this farm doesn't have a crawfish operation. Yes that was the farms shop where they keep all their equipment. I met them there when I drove up. They were cutting a couple miles away

Yes it was doing a great job. That row crop tractor was specially built with more aggressive tracks for the mud. It was a beast.
