the cavity strip search scene was one of the best scenes I've ever seen. It was like it was happening to me. It was unbelievably well done.

I hate when people judge Actreses for being naked on camera. Acting is like an Art, its her career and acting is what she loves to do its her passion. There is nothing wrong with being naked on screen. If the show or movie does it right, if the movie is nothing but nudity, then the producers just want to make money because its basically softcore porn. But alot of movies and shows capture nude moments and scenes really well. That is art.
You may be right but somehow I don't think the great actresses of the past, Garbo, Betty Davis, Joan Crawford, Jane Russel, Barbara Stanwick, Rhonda Flemming, and numerous others needed nudity to perform their art. Their facial expressions, body language, and dialogue were ample enough to convey the full range of human emotions. Nudity per se is not wrong but it is most often used today to titillate, hype, and give the impression that the director is down to the real "nitty gritty" of human behavior. The same goes for scenes where out basest bodily functions are on display. Where is the "beauty" in that? I know that as a male I would not want my daughter to perform nude scenes, or my son, or my wife or mother. I know I would be called prudish for such feelings but it seems today people are fixated on exposing themselves physically and emotionally especially with the tools of social media where is is now routine to minors to post nude pictures. That is why I laugh when I hear about "privacy" concerns when people are happy to expose themselves in movies and social media. The recent display of soft core porn performing at the Grammys on prime time TV I viewed on the news is a prime example showing that too much of this stuff is never enough.
@@garybeauchamp3623 Even in 1910 many did have nude or raunchy scenes. If the audience wants something they will pay to get it. Everything else is just a smokescreen.

+Rachel A Mickey was one of the characters that had the biggest character development most people have ever seen because he didn't want to believe he was gay and he was very guarded but as the seasons went on he showed his softer side he brought down his walls for Ian and that's honestly one of the best things I've seen a actor portray Mickey was the best character ever in my eyes I hope this convinced you the same
I saw the jail strip search scene last nite and i cried like a baby! Her portrayal was so real - and now i know she really had a real panic attack. It was Emmy worthy!

Nudity is over-rated. Over in Wild Africa you see the women totally nude everyday and they wonder like....what the heck are the Americans doing with glorifying nudity on TV ? Even seeing Emmy Rossum in this show I still think of her as Christine from Phantom of the Opera! She is amazing in Shameless but is definitely more a Christine than a Fiona in real life! She will always be Christine Diaa! So talented!

i love her always have. shes seems like a great person. Never watched Shameless(US) yet though. I watched the UK one and heard it was basically the same scene from scene so i never really checked it out. Anyone know if thats still the case even in the later seasons?
You should check out the US version. It's maybe the same as UK version around the beginning in a few episodes but the story would be changed and totally different from UK version. Many people said that US version is so much better, I've never watched UK version though. But honestly, I'm so addicted to US version.
1st season is pretty much the same but its a completely different show nothing like the uk one if u like cheesy american movies u will prefer the us version if u prefer uk dramas u will prefer the uk one

I threw up in my mouth a little when the interviewer talked about her anxiety about being naked in front of her coworkers. She should rest assured that her coworkers are just as terrified!
