      i personally find most people coments disturbing,they know nothing of why we are here,they rother believe theit own government narrative than actually finding the truth for themselves.The culprits of this Ukrainian ,Russian mess is The USA it's they who want world supremacy,not Russia or China or anyone else.This is the Monroe doctrine that the USA have adopted for over 100 years and more.There will never be world peace unless we have and adopt a multypolar strategy so to make sure that their is not a unipolar world.And for Zelensky he is rotten to the core along with most or if not the American political system.

    I think the Danish Prime Minister was talking about the West's reactions to Putin's red lines and that our obvious hesitancy sends a message of weakness. Better to say nothing publicly and discuss behind closed doors. We live in an era where people are incapable of just shutting up. We should take a leaf out of the Isrealis' book and act without warning instead of signalling our intentions and non-intentions to our enemy. Talking publicly indicates an appalling lack of intelligence.

    She’s talking about giving Russia the pedestal to chirp about red lines, to ignore them and give Ukraine the green light on the weapons capable of making a differences. It’s pretty obvious!

    • @ibeetellingya5683
      @ibeetellingya5683 Месяц назад

      Indeed, but there's a distinction between what red lines mean and what escalation means. Putin's lines are firm, and he responds to them being crossed. However, it's not about threats of violence in Europe, nuclear or otherwise. The Kremlin's escalations are asymmetric. The threats are about further destabilizating and inflamming crises at the West's most sensitive and costly global and local economic and political pressure points. This is most noticeable in the Middle East, national elections, and social polarization. Nevertheless, it better serves both Russian and Western interests, such as global energy markets, not to be openly explicit about it.

    Critics say the US might have moved to arm Ukraine sooner and with heavier weaponry, if the Intelligence community had assessed that Ukraine stood a fighting chance against the Russian army.
    In the days leading up to the war, the US Intelligence community told policymakers that Kyiv would likely fall within 3 to 4 days of a Russian invasion. ☹

    Russia’s wheat exports may reach 5.5 mln tons in September 2024, which equals the record level in the same period in 2023, the Rusagrotrans analytical center told TASS.
    "The outlook on wheat export in September 2024 considering EAEU countries has been upgraded to 5.5 mln tons, which equals the record level of 2023," the center said.
    During the previous agriculture season (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024) Russia exported 60 mln tons of grain, including 54.1 mln tons of wheat.
    Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said in late May that the outlook on the country’s grain harvest in 2024 remained at the level of at least 132 mln tons, adding that it would allow exporting up to 60 mln tons of grain in the new agriculture season.

    The Russian Armed Forces have struck Kramatorsk, destroying the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system of the Ukrainian Air Force. This was reported by the Donbas Partizan TG channel.
    Russian troops continue to strike the Ukrainian army's immediate rear, covering military facilities and various combat equipment. This time, during the strike on Kramatorsk, they managed to destroy the S-300 air defense system. According to available data, the anti-aircraft system was located in the north of the city in the Ilovye Polye area, and the strike was carried out by the Tornado-S MLRS.
    According to the channel, one of the munitions damaged the S-300 launcher, causing a second detonation of the ammunition. The second launcher, command post, and target detection and tracking radar also sustained serious damage. The SAM crew of 9 people, including the battery commander and operator, was completely killed. A large fire broke out at the site of the strike.
    In addition, a strike was carried out on the Kramatorsk airfield using FAB aerial bombs with UMPK. Preliminary, four bombs flew at the facility, which were definitely hit, there is no data yet, but they promise to provide information later.
    "There is no precise data on damage and losses at the airfield yet, but information on the extent of the damage continues to be assessed and analyzed."

    Firstly David Knowles was fantastic. I loved him, R.I.P. Secondly , Not sure is this the correct podcast, but, Hamish has always been an intersting man to listin to, and I assumed he was so knowledgeable, so I believed him, but when he makes the comment that Trump said , "HE would solve it in a day" that was 2 years ago and taken completely out of context, he actually said as recently as the debate he would solve it before he takes office, if he wins, that is a 2 month period, so please keep to the truth if u want me and i assume other people to listen to your daily podcast, lastly your team are on the whole fantastic.. p.s. u always ask where do people listen to your programme, I'm Irish, living in Thailand for 11 years. so of course, I'm a stupid Paddy! ha ha.

    I genuinely wish the people of Ukraine well. ( For the information of those that delete my comments I am half Ukrainian ), but I deplore the drive in the West ( & this podcast ), to prolong an unwinnable war that wil take the lives of many more tens of thousands of ( mainly economically underprivledged ) Ukrainians, instead of negotiating a realistic & practical peace.
