Thanks for watching! After reading a lot of your comments, here are some answers to help you out further: 1. This can be done anywhere in the game, not just Post-Game with Chansey. I did this with Eevee on Pokemon Road and got a high of 10k EXP per Eevee by chaining, along with over 100 Eevee candies. 👍 2. The more you catch and send to Professor Oak, the easier the Pokemon will be to catch. There was no "update" that made Chansey easier, it was the fact that I sent over 100 of them to Oak, hence the Green Ring! Hope this helps! Good luck, trainers! 👊
Very good video. Most Pokémon RUclipsrs are too energetic or include too much filler and I feel that your XP guide was the best to watch. You seem like a very genuine person giving genuine advice. Keep it up.
Did you notice. That When your chaining in the Cave the items will spawn in certain areas. I just run in a circle and catch chansey then I check all the spots then repeat. Esentially you could just farm the spot for EXP AND items.
A little advice for people who had their combos broken by a Chansey running away, the way you can tell it's gonna run away is if it makes a cry, moves (not jump, it just sways it's head up for a moment), and the circle is still there, there are two options after this, take a chance(ey), and try to catch the Chansey, or run away, if your confident choose option one, but if you aren't willing to take the risk, no shame in that my friend, I always run away after having a big combo xD. Oh and, thanks for the vid Abdallah~
Guys the reason he has a green circle is because he has a chain and also every time you send 50 of the same pokemon to professor oak it makes the pokemon easier to catch.
If you are trying to gain EXP during the story, just chain like this. You may not have access to this many chansey, but you’ll still get combos. Plus, you dont need to be super high level to beat the game.
not sure if anyone mentioned it, but you dont need a fancy pokeball on second controller, the ring is only effected by the p1 controller, so that will help save money
i love this method!! started today! in under 3 hours . . these guys went up . . vulpix level 18 to 62 . . gyardos 44 to 72 . . .zard 53 to 71 . .. saur 53 to 70. . .pikachu 50 to 69. .snorlax 34 to 64!!! scyther 13 to 63!!!! and others now im on a 34 chain cuz chansey ran after my 22 chain ! if i come across a shiny im catchin it tho idc lol. . . i love this method!!!!!!
i don't know if you know this yet but for the 2nd controller use pokeballs instead of ultaballs. It take the main person catch and you save some much money.
theres a chance to find master balls in cerulean cave. its a low chance, but if you save before picking up an item and you get something you dont want you can just restart your game. a different item (a master ball perhaps) might appear.
Thank you so much! I was trying to evolve my Pokemon so I could fill in my Pokedex and I had trouble, but thanks to your video, my Pokedex will be filled in no time! I'm just trying to get the shiny charm. ^^
Don't forget to mention that once you get them to level 100, that you can then take them to the Pokemon day care and have the old man do hyper training with them.
I know this is 2yrs late basically, but if you watch pikachu/eevee's tail the faster it wags, the closer to a hidden item you are. As for xp, the highest I've ever got was 64k from a chancey, don't remember what the combo was.
This is the absolute best exp farm. I had watched this video before post-game so when i got post game i used this farm first thing, now my team is all at least lvl 65.
Great video! Thank you! Learned another coulple of things. Might be worth noting, when I did this (before I saw the video) I got a real big chain of spearrow after the first gym. All the candy you get, you can sell in the pokemarkt to get a bucnh of money too. Since you're farming pokemon anyway, you'll always get a bunch of candy when chaining.
Thank you for this video! I know I am late but I was late getting a switch. Right after watching this plus your trick I immediately found a master ball in the ground! This was a great video and very informative.
I’ve only been able to get up to 45k exp while Chansey chaining. Once you catch about 100 the catch level goes to green with an ultra ball. Becomes super easy after a while.
10/10 video. Quick one - I'm assuming to use chansey for this method you're going to have a nasty little grind to start off (because she's rare) with to initially build the combo?
Managed to get my Mewtwo to level 80 from level 74 in 30 minutes thanks to this method. I used around 5 Max Lures and caught 30 Gravelers until my chain broke because I ran out of ultra balls so one of them fled. Edit: Just got him to 90 about an hour ago. Chain hasn't broken yet, but my switch is in sleep mode.
When I do catch combos I watch out for if it does it's second move bc when it does it's second move it's going to run so you can run before it can run and you can save your combo I hope this helps you A good place for catch combos is diglets cave with a lure
I chain geodudes in Rock Tunnel. I use a lure, stand still except to walk to geodude. Throwing a pokeball with both controllers and getting nice, great, or excellent throws with the combo bonus gets me about 1k XP per catch and geodude are easy to catch, so I didn't waste a bunch of balls. I got like 18k on one and like 24k on one. Plus, I got a shiny geodude om my 102nd catch.
Hey guys theres also another way when you havent beat the elite four and its to go to the guard that needs the volcano badge and before him yku can farm the nidorans and you can get more by synchronized throw
Very good Exp farm guide but 1 problem people who haven't completed the game can't use the cave and if you do complete the game your pokemon might already (maybe) be level 100
I've been shiny hunting after defeating the League, but whenever I see rare pokemon such as Charizard and Dragonite, it's so tempting to catch it. So I've been rare pokemon hunting. I wanna try this method though because I really want to catch Mewtwo, but my team is still lvl 56 (Aerodactyl) through 61 (Jigglypuff)

Idk I caught so many I wasn't paying attention to exp as it was the same rate for a long long time.
@@AbdallahSmash Managed to get 3. (I saw 1 shiny Pidgeotto during my 999 Vulpix streak, so 4 shinys in all) Fun fact: Level 56 Chansey can give 88,416 Exp while Level 57 gives 90k
