  • The world's national parks aren't always isolated. Nuuksio National Park is right on the doorstep of Finland's capital, Helsinki. New dedicated bus service to the park makes it easy and attractive to visit. That's especially true with the opening of the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia at Nuuksio-a one-stop, high-tech introduction to this Nordic nation's magical park system. Randy Johnson, travel editor at NationalParksTraveler.com, visits the park with Haltia customer service specialist Tuomas Uola.

I just went there this weekend and i must say indeed it is beauiful but if you want to experience real wild, silent, lonely nature you have to go further north to one of lapland's national parks for example

By then, the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia will be open-don't miss it. Say hi to Tuomas Uola, the customer service officer in the video.
