- PATRIOT has been designed as a medium-class armored wheeled combat vehicle with remote controlled weapon station equipped with gun mounts, potentially carrying up to 30 mm RCWS or manned turrets with 7.62, 12.7 or 14.5 mm calibre machine guns, automatic grenade launchers and anti-tank weapon systems.
PATRIOT can be produced in configurations suitable for combat support, general military reconnaissance, command and communications, medevac and other missions. Thanks to its versatile platform all available mission kits can be tailored to customer requests. Due to the ballistic and anti-mine protection, A/C and NBC filtration it provides the crew with a high level of comfort and safety. The cabin and the engine are also equipped with independent fire-extinguishing circuits. Air and water cooled engine options available to suit the tactical purpose and climatic conditions of the end user.

It was an honor to provide PATRIOT as a carrier of preference for our partner's RCWS shooting trial. Though we only had a few hours left we took every opportunity to test the vehicle performance in the sand of the shooting range.

Is it capable to feature hard-kill active protection system?
Thank you. Patriot can carry an APS such as Iron Fist Light from GD/Elbit.
Do you also market this vehicle for civilian use? Imagine driving it in the streets while sipping from a bottle of chilled Kofola. The dream.
That is a frequent question, thank you. Since you know Czechia already, let us just say our laws do not allow this vehicle to be sold as a civilian truck. Just having runflat tyres renders the vehicle a dual use technique.

Is this what is called an armored car today? Can it be armored enough to withstand HMG fire using rounds around the size of .50 Cal? Have you any active protection systems in mind?

the platform is modular both regarding purpose and protection. The maximum ballistic protection level we designed this vehicle to comply according to NATO STANAG 4569 standard is 4.
For kinetic threats that is equivalent to 14.5x114 mm AP round fire from 200 meters. This should be enough to give the crew a chance against .50 caliber attack.
The video, however, shows a Level 2 protection vehicle.
The vehicle can be equipped according to customer requirements and its roof can accommodate up to 240 kg, optionally, when reinforced, even 480 kg of hardware. APS, such as e.g. Trophy LV, can be technically installed.

Practically any available up to 240 kg weight, optionally double.

If it flips over, will the roof hold the weight of the vehicle, or crush the crew like ripe tomatoes?
The cab will hold when the vehicle rolls. There is a danger posed by a (especially high velocity) fall onto a localized protrusion such as a sharp rock that would eventually deform the capsule.

Can this vehicle be armed with a 20mm autocannon?
Do you have a specific model/round type in mind?
From what i've found, it can be fitted with ARX20 turret, which Is fitted with 10M621 cannon that fires 20x102 ammo

Maybe you can even mount missile launchers in addition to the main gun. Surely you can find a few AT examples. For air defense variant, think M6 Linebacker but smaller, like the AN/TWQ-1 Avenger
