Everytime I feel like giving up on my swap I come back to your videos to show myself it's not rocket science. Hopefully by next month I'll have her on the road!
Nice job Guru, I've done a half dozen myself and most times I use the Corvette regulator/filter, plumb it to the stock fuel rail and use a regulator block off plate to eliminate the stock regulator on the fuel rail. I've also been returning the fuel to the gas filler neck if there was no fitting in the tank, saves having to pull the tank. My latest swap had a low pressure electric pump to feed a carb so I installed a Fitech Force Fuel tank with the internal hi pressure pump. It really works great because it circulates the fuel through the pump tank and returns it to the regular gas tank so the fuel doesn't heat up. I also use hardline for supply and return most times using the stock plumbing and just cutting it off where I need it but there are many ways to do this and as long as it doesn't leak it's all good.
Legit detail. I know this is an old video but it's out there for the rest of us. I'm on the hunt for a fuel system for my 1992 Mercedes 500SL with an LS 5.3. I've this Corvette filter combo already but the Merc has 2 factory pumps...just trying to suss it out.

With this corvette filter what kind of fuel pump we neec to run?
No more then a 255
What year corvette is that filter from?
Great video did you leave the gas tank sending unit pointing to the right or did you aim the lines to the left where you running the fuel pump?

Been checking you out. Why you can't connect to old fuel line already running down da frame?
Usually because the original fuel lines are not fuel injection rated and will burst with the pressure produced. Unless you doing a carb LS.
You can as long as they are steel and you use high pressure ends on the lines. Compression fittings to both Push Loc and 6AN are available everywhere.
