In the USA you couldn’t have a pool business unless you have proper certification… these Men have the know-how and they get the job done, they deserve to get paid as much if not More than their western counterparts! (Not to say these men don’t have licenses…but there’s many building that have the ability and no carts)

Sorry but don’t take this wrong viewers but why is there wooden ornaments up on the wall at this stage of construction there’s splashes of white paint all over the wood ornament this will now cause double handling to get it off and the floor tiles should only be put down when all painting is done , if you pay attention to details you can see white paint splashes everywhere lol I’ve noticed this error on all houses in Ghana , the finishing is terrible
There is a solvent to take all the paint splashes off when the house is completely done. This is why you rarely see this on real estate properties for sale.

The finishing standard in Ghana is poor. Few were actual trained apprentices who went to technical school to study. They just learned from following their friends to work, so their technique was never correct in the first place. A master never critiqued their work to any standard. To finish well and to finish poorly is the same energy, so I can't explain why they don't see the issues. Possible solution: 1. Make artisans clean up the site every Friday afternoon. 2. Hold back artisan fees for 'snagging'. No one gets their final payment until the finishing is to your standard.
