THE GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED. Thanks to all for participating.
I bought my groomsmen this knife as a wedding gift. they loved it. 1 year later and they all still carry them.
TittyWinks excellent knife and great gift idea. I like your story.
That's badass and way better than most dumb crap people give out. That would be an awesome gift to get, something you can and will use for years and years to come.
Awesome gift,so much better than most gifts I’ve received..lol
I also gave all my groomsman different knives. Each different to kinda fit them. It's always great when i see them using them.
That's a very good point. People who get lost a lot are usually people who are only planning for a day hike. It happens over and over. I always try to plan for the worst and usually take more than I need. My friends ask me that all of the time, why am I taking so much. I tell them it's always better to have more than not enough. Thank god I haven't had to need it though. But you just validated my point. And I'm getting me a couple of them ESEE Izula's to piggy back my ESEE 5's.
Little by little I'm collecting the entire ESEE line. Awesome quality blades!
I get a kick out of seeing skills I've learned over the years being used and can't wait to try new ones that I learn from you guys.
damn.this was a lot of work! you can read thousands of pages in forums, click through the manufacturer's website, but this, this!!! is more than anyone can offer to really show how a blade performs, what it can do, how it feels. youtube. great job using this platform as advertisement and educate people about your products. it's worth it. all those awesome people in this community - just fantastic!
liked/tweeted!
Just learning about knives and found this extremely educational, especially out in the field.
lemme just say that as a student of visualization, the combination between art and tech, with studies in animation, video, and graphic design, i really appreciate the production value of your videos.
This is a great work horse!!! I use mine everyday !!! Defiantly worth the money !!!! I'm in!!!
Looks like a great knife to have as back up and to handle smaller tasks.
Have bad my izula for about a year. For the size its a pretty awesome blade. Feels great in the hand
I've been wanting to buy this knife for a while, and seeing it used out in the field just makes me want to buy it more, heck if I don't win the drawing I'll buy it anyways.
Oh man - this knife is at the top of my list for knives that I would *love* to own. I've never participated in anything like this before, so here's hoping that I win!
Useful as a back-up while hiking/camping but also as a concealed EDC as a neck knife.
For my bud in the Caribbean..(hello Clark) you can carry a neck knife wearing speedos!
I am very intrigued about this Knife I will be calling y’all within the next 3 to 4 days to order one for myself I’m liking it thank you so much

These things are super robust and incredibly sharp!!!
Great job! I would love to have a knife like that! WOW! Thank you guys for sharing!
Thanks for a thorough going over of the good , bad & ugly of the knife. This affords me the luxury of making an informed decision instead of having to return something that work 4me.
I am a fan of Esee knives, you guys have great videos. Keep them coming, thanks.
Done and done love esee knives they are a good front runner for some great strong dependable knives! Made in America!

Been thinking about this knife for a small carry blade. Love Esee products too. I already own a Laser Strike and looking at the 4 for a camp knife. Good products!
Love Blade HQ and Esee. Thus, I shared.
These videos rock. Glad ya'll are still around.
Looks like a great little backup blade. I'd love to have one.
Great vid and comp Gents, Liked, Shared the link on ABF (Aussie Blade Forums) thank you for opening it up to Internationals (all Fixed blades are legal to import into Australia).
Cr0cket is such an awesome guy, knows his stuff on blades and the outdoors, great testing and shows the abilities of the Izula. Best wishes Lads and good to all who enter!
Old vid apparently but I was SO stoked to find this on BHQ's website... As always Cr0cket, great stuff, glad BHQ was smart enough to use real outdoorsmen like yourself to test/demo their products like this.
Liked and shared. Good to know the 2 has a slightly longer handle. I've been thinking of getting a smaller blade like a Candiru or an Izula and this vid is helpful.
I have a Becker K&T with the ESEE Izula handle and it's very comfortable. Love it. Going to have to enter!
I’m actually happy to see!!! Tundra like climate blade test! This MN fella is proud!
Your field test vids are awesome, just like the Izula.
Always fun to see Crocket out in the woods. Liked & Shared!
Love crocket and the vids he does... Have loved the bladeHQ collaborations. Liked and shared!
Great back up blade! Small but very strong.
I'm a girlwoodsman..and I love the compactness and how light it is and so functional for me. It fits in my small Frame hands so well. I trust it to dress out my turkeys and deer.
Us twin girls.. hntr chx. Sure hope I win an izula for my twin sister ❤ we will be 60 in June!
Thanks and good luck everyone!

Shared on facebook. Crocket looks like a badazz in this vid!! Great shots Ben!
Love Esee knives. The Esee 4 is also a great knife to carry in you outdoor adventures!! Nice kydex with the 4. They are all solid simple design blades.
Always look forward to the next video what ever the next adventure is good luck in the coming year thanks
Just ordered one now. I just got the Esee 6 a month ago. I have plenty of folders but if I want to pry just a bit or put any stress on it, freaks me out. Never had a smaller fixed blade of ant quality. Long wait now for the 3 days til it arrives. Lol. Think it’ll be great hiking carry for this and that. Little more substantial than leatherman blade for hiking.
great video! awesome knife, i dont own a fixed blade yet but this looks awesome!! liked and shared! !!!
This is an awesome knife. A great backup for any occasion.
Looks into the white river m1 caper. I edc one everyday think you would like it. For a large one the esse6 is nice I got one from the knife connection that was customized.
Guys really like your 'hands on' videos... proving what all the blades can stand! I hope you pick me this time :)
man cant stop watching this video, so cool. great test,
Fingers crossed, the Izula is on my ever lengthening list I'm sure the Izula 2 can take its spot
Blade hq was years ahead of its time.
I carry my izula every day along with one of my kershaw folders. Its just a bit big for EDC but I manage and love it.
Would love to win this to give to my son for his birthday! Nice looking knife. I've got the Junglas which I love!! I've really been impressed with ESEE knives.
Nice to see you on Hqs vids Crocket, Liked n shared
This knife and the condor mini bushlore are perfect for carrying on belt.
Very solid general use knife to compliment a 4” hunting knife when in the bush or the upland.
this knife is on my must have list
Agree 100%, when i saw your video i though, man.. the quality is amazing, how different could it be with those cameras (Ben's).... but now i see that those cameras capture awesome shots than a go pro can't handle (don't take it to the wrong way, i love goPros videos). I use a DSLR for my videos, but I'm still in the learning process. Anyway, i love to see youtubers interact... you guys are amazing! Be safe out there!
PS: I want one of those ribs pack... they seems to be awesome!
cool lil knife and a nice giveaway, Thanks Blade HQ and Crocket
Great little knife to have for your EDC
I loved this blade! I ended up losing it on a hiking trip. Even though we looked for it the following day, we had to leave without it! Ruined my whole trip! Would love to be able to get another but my financial situation sucks! Thanks for the cool video!
It should have a lifetime warranty so u can get a free replacement because ESEE usually gives lifetime warranties for all their knives.
Michael Tarantolo I don't think it applies to lost or stolen items just broken.
I cant wait to buy one of these knives.
Liked and shared, Ben, glad you made it out alive and with your camera gear! Great knife, great giveaway, great vid.
love mine got it in March 2011 carry it just about everyday

FUN IN THE SNOW WITH AN ESEE, NOTHING BETTER
Nicely produced video and good review of the ESEE Izula 2. This knife seems like an ideal complement to a larger survival knife.
I've had one of these for about a year. It's capabilities are definitely out of proportion to its size.
Good knife & good guest! Thanks again BladeHQ
This is the best review on the Izula knife that I have seen on You Tube.Great job Crocket.
