I remember when I was taking care of my Dad. He had been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. It was advanced and they only gave him 6 months. He fought though and lasted 18 months. During this time, a girl who I was beginning to fall for had become interested in me too. She worked at a place that we'd go to, so she knew us both, and sadly our story too. One day she took me aside and offered me her dog. Not just her dog, but the dog she raised. She was still young but she had trained her to an incredible level. She never needed any leash, and she could and would go to the bathroom on command. But most of all she was the most loving, sweet, and beautiful pup, AND it was hers. And she gave her to us. I worked 3rd shift so my Dad was home at night alone. She gave us her puppy so my Dad would have company. It was the most selfless gesture that I ever saw. Sadly after my Dad's passing, things didn't work out the way I hoped. She moved, I had to move and no place allowed dogs so I had to give her back. In 2 years I lost my Mom, my Dad, my home(landlord rescinded the deal that I could take over payments on the house.), my girl, and my dog. I only brought this up because I may have recently been given similar news that my Dad had. This coming after I already developed the same illness that took my Mom's life. A slow acting disease, which may not have been fast enough. Facing your own mortality you see things so differently. It's sad that it sometimes takes that to make this happen. Life is so precious, so short, and so worth living! Seeing you with your dog, reminded me of what I had and miss so much. My next round of tests coming up will probably tell or give me a more detailed explanation or accurate answer. Just have fun and never ever take anyone, or any family members, including your fuzzy faced friends for granted. Their love is so real and so true. God Bless you all.

Needed this. Had a Alaskan malamute for 12yrs that passed away recently and this was comforting. Whats amazing how the breed acts EXACTLY the same. Even if they’ve never met another one of their breed. My malamute was a exact clone of this in behavior lol keep making amazing videos!

Last wednesday I woke up and couldnt find my dog. I checked all his favorite sleep spots. I checked closets, and under beds. I knew what was up before I found him. Dogs are the most loyal creatures ever. They love us so much they understand that it will cause us pain to see them die. So they hide away to do it. I found my little guy curled up inside the canvas bag I use to haul firewood into the house. He looked so peaceful......and he WAS dead. Sorry to sadden anyone but......I miss the little dude. Never lost a pet this close to me and its still fairly fresh.
Dogs probably do refer to all of us as weirdo's. I liked napping with a friend's Great Dane when she was around, she was as big as me (I'm 6' 2") so a good protector and pillow 😄
I love Key he gets a annoyed but thats HIS weirdo. Husky’s have a HUGE personality but are fiercely loyal and protective of their family. My floof only likes my brother and I but I am hers she unhappily shares me with my pitties but she treats them as her puppies so she allows cuddles.
While the subtitles are funny, the best thing about this to me is the quietness of just laying next to one's pet. I do this with our cats sometimes. I figure if they can crawl up on me and sleep, I can do the same.
