What I understand is the vocals was one take after a short rehearsal, it was the multiple cameras that were edited, this song is from a TV Serie, Mori covered it and made it a Nr 1 hit in many countries, this Video has been downloaded millions of times, at the begining of the song she is asking why its over but is not sure, then she starts getting angry but still does not want to let go, she knows that it's over ,this is a song perfect for Mori with the emotion and the vocal crys perfectly placed and small growls, just perfection I'm not sure of the title I think it's I HAVE TO LET GO, GUSTO KO NANG BUMITAW Mori is just the best, there are many versions on TV and in the bus 107.5bus viewed many times then there are the duets with the original singer and with Regine in another show, she has just sung this in Australia in her concert, with her fans singing along as she walked through the crowd, Mori doing her thing.
i think you're right that they recorded the vocals with one take but they shot her singing at least twice. the last part at least. i've been a director/editor for over 20 years and it's easy to to spot the inconsistent cut. @14:16 to 17 you'll notice her arm in a different position in the cut. the hosts actually noticed it but were thrown off by the live vocals. doesn't take away anything from mori though. still great and the performance can still be considered "live".

Third Avenue also was the band on the Bruno Mars Medley. The brilliant Adonis Tabanda on base guitar is the leader of Third Avenue. Adonis has been Mori's main music director. He arranged the Bruno Medley and many or Mori's performances.

14:26 I’ve heard/read it explained by her team that the “cuts” are in the video as the team takes a couple of angles, but the audio is one take. If you go back to your reaction of her Bruno Mars medley and you’ll notice similar jumps in the video. 😊
I’ve only heard her shred her belt a couple times and I believe it’s intentional just like the squeaks. She does a broadway hit video and does the song She used to be mine from The Waitress and it’s a masterpiece of emotion and she shreds her belt there as well. That same video she does Defying Gravity and it’s truly unbelievable!!! Even if you don’t react check those two out. She also has a bunch of stuff out recently all great as usual!
