Great, so glad the video was of some use and really glad you could support this great shop. Thanks for watching an letting me know- makes it all worthwhile.
Interesting establishment. Must pay a visit when in Blackpool for a few days late July. As a serious collector of model railway items I noted their prices to be at the upper end of pre owned stock. Hope to find items that are miss from my collection.
I wish you the best in finding the missing items, certainly a good place to look! I would say in terms of prices to keep in mind this is a bricks and motor shop, so yes may be a little higher but shops like this with over heads are so rare now. I did by a buy a few bits on both my visits and what I paid was very fair. Anyway thanks for watching and taking the time to message.
I am absolutely kicking myself as last year we returned to Blackpool for the first time in decades, stayed at Premier inn Airport and took the tram along to Cleveleys but did not know about this unbelivable shop. MUST RETURN !!!!!!
Oh I hope you do, Premier inn at the air port works quite well if you are visiting we have stayed there a few times. Anyway thanks for watching and I hope you can visit this great shop.
What a fabulous shop: My interest has always been in public transport: railways, buses, trams, coaches and Trolley Buses, with a preference for 'oo' gauge. You showed some Linka kits and some years back there was a re-launch of Linka and it has gone from strength to strength. Moulds are available for N, OO and O gauges; with an outstanding choice. This was a very interesting video and I am pleased to subscribe. Bryan.
Hi Bryan, thank you for subscribing. I haven't seen linka for years so on your pointer just looked up and wow, I will need to have a go! Jobs toys is great so much stock! Anyway thanks for watching, subbing and taking the time to message.
Wow what a video and what a shop ! a mate has just sold his wrenn mint boxed duchess in br blue for a lot of money ,wonder how much my complete G scale railway all DCC etc' is worth lol as it is all packed away
Apologies for the delayed response. many thanks it is a great shop! G scale is very popular at the moment may be worth a call. Anyway thanks for watching and the message.
Is that Tekno brand 6:03 still a Danish manufacturer? I know the brand made road toys going back decades. Another Danish brand “Long” made Märklin compatible model trains back in the 1960s.
I’m sure I saw recently someone that was saying this shop had called it a day and was shutting down but very happy to see that it hasn’t, if I have got this right did this use to be a smaller shop located at fleetwood ferry where the trams loop back on themselves to go back to Starr Gate but now has moved away from there, if so I went to that smaller shop three times in the last 10 years as some years my family took a weeks holiday to Blackpool in the summer, even though they were a few years ago from that small shop one year I got a triang jinty, the next time I went I got a hornby pacer then the third time I got a bachmann 4CEP EMU and a hornby Oliver Cromwell, Great walk through the shop showing what is available, if I am right about what I saw it’s good that that person was wrong and the shop is still going.
I believe it moved, but not being from the area and only discovering it myself last year maybe some one can fill in the details, but for sure This current shop is there! Many thanks for watching.
Nice I've been looking out for a Mercedes coach from the 1990s 1:50 scale burgundy coach I've seen them twice. Once in model zone b4 it closed 2nd time at a stool in portobello Road market never got a chance to buy it😢
Also a quickie, if you take a look back (6:24) the Fairey Albacore 1/48th scale build was one of mine that I had finished a while back. Funny it’s still there to this day after checking the shop out for new kits.
I wish I could have, if it wasn't for the expense of visiting Blackpool with the family I probably would have! Still I bought a few bits and was in the shop ages so much to look at! Anyway thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
