I mean, the ref knew he got the wrong and he offered to bring a sub on but honestly yeah bro, we would run it. We've done it before (exactly like we showed in the video) and would do it again. We're always down for the occasion but we never forget it's a friendly and would rather pursue a solid preseason than stay concerned about content. But now we have more reason to go again and finish the South London trilogy 😂👍

I coach U14 and we play in +37C whether every summer. You lot got the red and didn't want to face the consequences. Bring more players next time and it won't be an issue.
If you play in 37+ degree heat every summer that means you're conditioned for it. Most athlete's are not and this is why we even had a world cup held in winter in the middle east. And bringing more players doesn't solve anything lol

Legs are legs and 90 minutes in the "heat" requires subs whether there's cards or not. If it was really a concern, it should have been addressed at the start, not halfway through the game. How do I know? Because I literally coach kids where safety is a top priority. We're in Oklahoma. And I get conditioning to surrounding areas, but anything with 20sC is playable. I've literally played in 40C weather for a Summer League team that played for pride where cards flew just as wildly. Grown men at this level should be accountable for their actions AND words, it's a red and he admitted to it, end of story.

Bad refereeing is the main cause of nasty and silly fights in Sunday league. I noticed when a ref is good there’s barely any fights in the games they ref.

Baiteze SE dons etc. and many other Sunday league teams literally have 11 players on the pitch and 20 odd people on the touchline all the time. As a ref, that’s really scary and intimidating cause you’re literally alone. So I sympathise with refs heavily.

That’s like giving a team a penalty, they take the penalty and score, then 15 mins later throughout the game the ref suddenly changes his mind about the penalty and retracts the goal. Even if it's a friendly, even if it's a mistake, a red card is permanent after shown, unless you got VAR available, or a linesmen tell the ref. this is the referee rules, breaking this rule, might actually cost this referees job and future.

For some reason a few Baiteze games have popped up on my front page and I have watched a few. Honestly, talented team but the constant disrespect to refs, ARs, blatant diving at the smallest touch and now trying to change the rules mid game, crazy. Not to mention mismanagement of player numbers and then trying to blame the 'heat' is stupid. Show up to play with the right team, rain hail or shine, or in this case, 0 degrees or 30 degrees.

Ive watched both UTR and baitezes video about the situation. I do agree theyre moist about it but then again, you need to sort the discipline out cause your players are always back chatting the ref. And dont use heat as an excuse. Many teams have played with less players, including mine, in similar heat but dont complain abt it.

UTR manager is embarrassing, its a friendly. Surely you want your team properly tested and challenged before the season starts. Fair play to the ref for allowing the option to have someone else come on - the right call for a friendly. It would be down to the opposition manager as the player has been sent off. Can't be using the heat as an excuse either, add another water break if that was the genuine concern. Games happen in much hotter conditions - 26 degrees and its dangerous 😂 Poor from both managers guilting the ref. Love for both teams but refereeing was far from ideal sadly and unfortunately havin a go at him doesn't help the situation and just encourages him to give out cards and bins, hopefully btz reflects on that one and appreciates it's only making the game harder for themselves without losing the competitive spirit . UTR should have spent less time thinking about the optics of the red card reversal and more time thinking about the players I believe especially if the referee is happy with it himself. It's about the game and players at the end of the day not what some comments are gonna say. A league game or cup game I'm inclined to agree w UTR but it was a pre season friendly.
