I have been to Singapore, and it is a terrific country! It has a very modern and very professional Air Force and Navy, which is vital for defense against an increasingly militaristic and aggressive China. The U.S., Australia and other Pacific nations have very close ties and alliances with Singapore.
New Zealand hosted some of their F-16s last year at RNZAF base Ohakea. We were supposed to get a unit permanently based here but our pathetic Defence minister voted against it for some stupid reason.

Great .Thumbs up!!salute to Singapore Air Force
I am proud of RSAF.
Me too
Love that Singapore Lion. How telling of their spirit.
these Singapore pilots accept drilling in USA??
Visited Singapore in May 2019 and inside the taxi from the airport to my hotel I saw those awesome F-15s in the air. Lucky I got a few photos and videos. I’d love to see an air show there!
It's very strange seeing turkey feathers (Divergent Nozzle External Segments) installed on these SG's. I'm so used to seeing the US F-15s with no turkey feathers installed, very interesting. Excellent video!
mikoriad they look cool though
and now the F-15EX has adopted this :) together with its concept and all the spooks poking out for electronic countermeasures.
Most dominant , relevant air superiority fighter on the planet.
I'm slightly confused about the heading, it says Singapore Air force, but it shows an F15E coded MO, which is Mountain Home Air force base in the United States.
The Singapore air force trains there
Note the markings on the fuselage - the merlion, which is the symbol for the Singapore Air Force (instead of the USAF markings)
@@jh8591 i'd like to think its a lion sigil instead of a merlion😁
They are Singapore Air Force jets and pilots, based at Mountain Home, as 425th Sqn, but they are 100% Singaporean, from pilots to ground crew. Just using the air space and exercise opportunities with MO squadrons and the annual Red Flag Ex.
2:58 Wow, they even have operator's namr on the plane
Yes. Pilot's and WSO's name is on the left side while their crew chiefs' name is on the right.

OUR TRAINING REMAINS THE BEST.
so weird not to hear Pratt & Whitneys 220s, 229s
Would be nice if the U.S. would get funding to re-engine our F-15's with the GE F-110-129 engine
+jrftworth these are also fitted with AESA radars and Israeli sensors, extra antennas, IRCM, EW kit...
+Name Less I'm well aware of that
That's how the latest US F15EX were being introduced !
3:34 F-16 Engines?
+The Angry General GE F110 engines. shared with the F-14, F-16 and F-15 (K/SG/SA variants).
Wah F-15 in Singapore I’m so happy
Aren't these red things at 1:12 "Remove before flight" stuff..?
c0rsaire92 They forgot? That's really serious
Maybe they're still fixing up the plane or something I mean its not moving or anything
c0rsaire92 since those are on the weapons, they will get pulled once they taxi into the arming area prior to take off.
101UtahRaptor They don't get removed till they arrive at the EOR (end of runway) area just before takeoff
101UtahRaptor
If you remove those safety pins at taxiing area, what happens if one of the bombs were to get loose while taxiing?
Grow some brains
Air force keeps flying past my house....
Edit: Huh. Two years ago, I really was stupid, wasn’t i?
Gavan Tan I love air force so everyday the same fighter jets practice the national day parade this year and fly past my house I will just run outside my house and watch them fly past because I luv the sound lmao
Stain
Heck! I totally forgot about younger, more stupid me!
Gavan Tan haha lol now ndp edy they fly over my house like 5 times a day
@@blurpblurp4416
Mine too.
Aiya nvm, next time they moving out from central area lo.
Why do they signal an x with their arms for?
It means "stop".
Wonder Woman.
Headphone users watch out!!
Ground crew is as important as the pilot.

RSAF no base fighter jet in singapore..smaller country...
They have 7 bases
Tengah airbase (merged with I think Changi east)

formação nos EUA é pra quem pode
Hum é mesmo
***** olá! Cingapura é um país sério que gastou em educação e honestidade sem festa da FIFA e COI.
It is not just the plane... the pilot is more essential to a dogfight....
The plane is also very important
Imagine flying a dogshit plane with a good pilot💀@@BeachBoi1000
The issue with this design is the intake. When you pull positive-G, the top of the intake blocks air from going in. Issues arise due to this. This american design should always have an additional step of reduce-pitch. Throttle down a bit to avoid flame out, pull, hit target angle-pitch, push down a little (reduce-pitch to push air in), throttle up. Same for your noisy take-off. Thrust to weight ratio for 45deg climb from 3000ft to 28000ft should be - no need to buy other american nonsence. No point have such things around when your job is not done.
Old planes have round round face front not angled to flame-out or pig mode... not for millennials
Recalculate and reprogramme for switchable high-altitude 60'000ft cruise with a loadout catered to assist 60'000ft cruise without reheat. Designate as testbed for f16viper as awac and f15sg as interceptor/anti-satellite.
Ah yes armchair engineer. They know what they are doing, let them be
Go Buccaneers!

It's always nice to see our F series planes in action.

Where malay
There are no malays in the Singapore Air Force And the Singapore Navy
there are. Former CO of 112 Sqn was a malay COL, there're at least 3 other malay pilots, one flying F-5 (going to be converted to F-15), and another F-16 and KC-135 pilot.
+Name Less yea got a few in navy as well. like me malay and in navy
@@kaiyuan4400 There are Malays in the RSN. Check your sources
