As a oldschool rap fan you are absolutely right. If you know rap, real rap then you know that no other male or female rap line of these kpop groups is even close to xg. Starts with the bars, the cadence, the delivery, the flows, the emphasis of certain words... they can go off on any kind of beat, they do back and forth rapping. And they pay hommage and respect to the ones who paved the way, which is a essential part of rap/hip hop.

For me XG is the best group I've ever listened or come across to. No other group is this versatile and this strong talent wise both as a collective and individually. Jurin, Maya and Cocona are already aces and it's only a matter of time before Harvey and Juria become one too. Then you just have Chisa and Hinata, two amazing all-rounders as you're so-called "weakest" members in the group. To be that strong as a group after just two years in is unheard of and it's XG so they will keep getting better and keep raising the bar because they're truly extraordinary.
Concept of the MV is that they are the alien wolf pack taking over planets just as Jurin said in Woke Up. The beginning has Cocona infiltrating the QR code “pigs”. She takes the throne like she said she would in Tape 2 (explosion scene). It shows the girls dropping down from space. Jurin goes on the attack dressed as an homage to Princess Monoke with a Hunger Games Bar. Harvey comes in bursting through the glass to finger gun CAP a bunch of QR heads, so many she loses headcount. Maya is shown also infiltrating and then it shows her sitting down looking majestic with QR heads dead and hanging up. The vocal line all seem like powerful goddesses leading the Alphaz for the main attack. Another great Princess Monoke homage with the footsteps growing plants with each step. It ends with them taking out the leader of the QR heads and taking over the grey barren planet and bringing green growth and beauty. Some people also suggest this could mean that XG is bringing something fresh to a music scene/industry that is dry and old.
Dont worry about those YG stans stuck on their own YG rock! They always at war with groups outside their own and self inflate their own faves (which is fine). When I listen to Kpop I always look for songs that I would crave, and XG by far has the most songs, if not, ALL their songs. I love Aespa, Everglow and etc. But they only have a few select songs that I crave. And don't even get me started on Dance and Rap, they're hands down, no contest, the best in the business. Vocals are no joke as well. Those who went to their concerts would know (I did).
Don't worry about other fandoms tbh especially the toxic ones. Sure every group will have some toxic stans that's a given but some have more than others. At least I can say from what I have seen that XG has one of the most diverse (Race and Age) and least toxic fans.

It's true that XG has a huge difference, they have a different image, they have a different way of thinking about making music, XG is like a strong punch to the KPOP industry in the past few years, BTS and BP are groups that have had their own success but the current KPOP groups are like copies of these 2 groups, there needs to be innovation so that the world knows more, KPOP groups go up by commerce while their current music is so bad, we can see BM's CLIK CLAK is a typical example of commerce, it's a very bad full rap song and even the information they provide in their song is false, FLOW is not clear, DELIVERY is almost non-existent because their rap bars only have 2-3 sentences, while in each rap bar of XG, they exploit world information in too much detail. XG's DELIVERY is so perfect, BM's CLIK CLAK has 100 million views while WOKE UP only has 60 million views, we can see how terrible the promotion of KPOP is, not to mention the current KPOP groups own a large KPOP community in the world created by BTS and BP, I'm sick of seeing KPOP fans flattering their IDOLs too much and because they flatter too much, they feel humiliated in the case of LE SSERAFIM
