Yup finally getting the builder to speak on his creation on a masterpiece of art a collaboration of many people involved in putting a car or truck together unless they are a Jack of all trades. The fact he made a wheel that you don't loose hub caps I've lost plenty on my 1968 Toyota
The hard tops were oringal made to be convertibles they just put a top on it to cut cost. I have seen a few of them turned back into a convertible. Even the 53s-54s the tops are lower on the Belairs I've even seen the post done but it don't look right because of the post and the front windshield is higher. Like if I would a temp to make my 1947 Chevy coupe into a custom covertable I would have to cut the front windshield lower to look right if I left it alone the front windshield would look to high. Like the Chevelle 1968 covertable and the 1968 Chevelle hard top the front windshield are diffrent the convertibles they are lower. Many cats look the same but the parts won't fit unless they are modified to fit. I learn a lot of this stuff over the year's of building Kustom car's and truck's. The only way I like to Customize a car or truck is that more than half the parts have to be missing where I don't have to find parts. That's why you see a lot of Cadillac's Kustom because that don't sale any after market parts! The Cadillac guy's or gal's either have to hunt for all the parts or make them Cadillac do not have after market parts. I knew this old Mon that built a 1958 Cadillac spent a lot of money restoring it just the wheels alone cost as much as a new cheap car on a lot at the time. Yup it some of those older gentlemen will pay up for there dream car and something that no one has either.

Was it a convertible already
Or is that something you did
I have 1950 chevy styleline deluxe
And I want to make it a convertible
I Heard hardtops and 'verts are the same body ,the top was installed as needed

NOPE, as soon as I saw the v8, no deal. Great build, great vlog, just my preferences.
