There are always going to be Tomlin haters including a good amount of Steeler fans. Too bad for them because Tomlin will be around for awhile and will end up in the Hall of Fame one day just like Cowher
If Tomlin comes off like that the rest of Hard Knocks it will be fantastic for bringing talent in. Every free agent player will be dying to play for him.
Tomlin has been great for years . People bash him about the playoffs , a lot of those teams didn’t have the personel to even make the playoffs. The defense was terrible with killer Bs era . He’s made more with less for years . I love Mike Tomlin . Don’t forget Bill Cowher had some problems in the playoffs for years too
A lot of NFL players are going to watch and see how Coach T conducts and players from all around the league is going to want to come to play for him and the Pittsburgh Steelers 🖤💛👍💯
Tomlin did a podcast episode with some ex-players. I wish I'my remembered which. He spoke for something like an hour. He's, frankly, an amazing human being. If you can find it, I recommend listening to it to five into "who is Tomlin."
Definitely loved seeing Tomlin eating Fritos watching film. I think this episode shows how much he loves football and fosters that love with his team. Cam Heyward is another star of the show.
Couldn’t agree more. There are legitimate critiques a reasonable person can levy against Tomlin’s performance, most of which involve being slow to adapt to information / technological advantages in other front offices. He’ll never find those kinds of edges. He also has to own the RF/MC era of OCs, which are pretty major unforced errors. But the positive impacts he makes in every other area are massive. His ppl skills are maxed out, and football is a ppl business. All the traditional X/O stuff is clearly a strength. His passion seems to be infectious, he works very hard by all accounts, he’s a good person and he surrounds himself with good people. A 1st ballot HOFer. I honestly wish he’d run for president. The communication & people skills, coupled with his understanding of big picture priorities would make him a compelling candidate. All the stuff that makes him a dynamic head coach would be similarly useful if he were to run for office. We’re lucky to have him as the PIT HC, but I don’t think it’s a reach to suggest he could have a much larger positive impact on our world, if he so chose.
1st time viewer on this site. Nice synopsis you've given here. You spoke so many truths. For those who don't know, all you can say is - "you don't know what you don't know". Can't wait to hear some more of your content.
I love Mike Tomlin and am hoping more Steelers fans start to appreciate everything he has done for this team more. My home football team has never won the Superbowl. Like Mike Tomlin wante, Steelers fans are spoiled with success (6 superbowls).
as tough as your job is when you watch the show keep that apprecaition for it close because for the big fan that tries to get as much behind the scenes footage as i can the first episode was glorious behind the scenes stuff i dont need to see every year but im relishing this moment to see behind the steel curtain
Listening to platers talk about Tomlin and seeing him on Bens and Ryans podcast has made me see him in a different light. There are still plenty i dont like about him, but any couch that has been with a team for this many years those things that annoy you will start to magnify even bigger.
Get to kmo him through tomlin Tuesdays post game pressers. And sights and sounds steelers release weekly of games that's all we got and few podcasts appearances
Loved first episode. Clear Tomlin is on a whole different level than the other coaches. Was schedule intentional so Hard Knocks could film? Garrett seems NOT humble. I could be wrong. Thinking Steelers are going to go off on the Browns. Let’s see how they do on a short week… just sayin 💛🖤
Hey Alan! As we are getting towards the end of the season, I wondered how compensatory picks might impact the Steelers decision to resign guys (if at all) I think about guys that might be leaving in free agency this year (Najee, Dan Moore, James Daniels, Justin Fields) would compensatory picks play into any of these guys staying/leaving?
So, you and Carter; drinking the same cocaine elixer, or graduates of the same auctioneer class? Geeze oh peeze Louise, I got tired just listening to that intro. 😅 Love your take on this. 😊
Coach T makes me disappointed in other coaches I respect by comparison. As a Steelers fan I’m just so used to his swagger and leadership, so I thought most coaches would have this moxy. But they just don’t seem to inspire quite as much
No doubt Tomlin is a great motivator.his in game descions are questionable.his half time adjustments are also good.but you can see the difference between Mike and other coaches.
Not to bring race up, but I just think some of those old boomers think how the dolphins thought when they didn’t want tomlin cus he’s to “hip hop” whatever that means. They associated him w a “player” not a tough coach, which he is
I'm probably in the minority, but I couldn't care less about Hard knocks nor Coach of the Year. Let's ask Tomlin what he thinks about those two subjects. I know I won't be surprised by his response 🧐
@lucioushicks I've been watching NFL Films since the 70's. It's just not important anymore, once that father and son duo past away. It just became to political and money hungry of a show. I don't care who does or doesn't watch the show. It just not relevant, ask coach T.
@@mattnerdy7236I have a feeling you’re saying this only because you think Mike Tomlin feels the same way. If Mike Tomlin cared about it, you’d probably care too. Be your own person, friend.
Tomlin to me acts like most black men I know...We call it " The Gift of Gab"...meaning a person who is "Charismatic" ...He could be a Rapper if he took that path.. The same The Gift of Gab" is in Ryan Clark, Stephen A. Smith, Emmanuel Acho etc etc...Basically it's Swagg
They act like this man is trying to lose playoffs game...GIVE HIM SOME DAMN TALENT!!!!! Good players win games, not coaches...ask Bill B!!!!! DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mike Tomlin is one of the greatest coaches and leaders of men of all time. The people of Pittsburgh need to start appreciating that.
@StraightRocketFuel
We all know what Pittsburgh is they will never embrace him and that's OKAY. He doesn't need their flowers he never did
There are always going to be Tomlin haters including a good amount of Steeler fans. Too bad for them because Tomlin will be around for awhile and will end up in the Hall of Fame one day just like Cowher
Tomlin calling the Herbig strip sack out right before the exact play that it happened on is 🤯
I did too! I told my wife sitting next to me

the reality is that kevin colbert was terrible the last several years of his career
@@akiwii9925 drafting guys like Jarvis Jones , Limas Sweed , Artie Burns , Kenny Pickett . I fully agree
@@tiemann55 no one, and i mean no ome gives enough blame to Ben for really not good playoff football
@ I agree , but the defense lost many more games than Ben did over the years
Agree, all franchises go through this some never win!
Coach Tomlin was also on Big Bens Channel 7.

Mike Tomlin for President!

The Pivot with Ryan Clark
That was a fantastic episode!
I loved the first episode. ❤ Coach T!

You would never see the success of Mike Tomlin without them forcing it ... We have so many doubters, they less they know; better for the team...

I only saw the clip of Tomlin pumping up Herbig before his strip sack. Man it got me fired up. PUT ME IN COACH
I'm with Tomlin. I never wanted the Steelers on hardknocks. Too many teams have spied on us over the years. We don't need to give away our secrets.

Tomlin needs to correct Joey Porter Jr's Penalties before Porter will cost the Steelers a Divisional Playoffs Game

I hope this silences some of the “Fire Tomlin” idiots.
Q: what reporter in Pittsburgh would write Tomlin’s biography? Does he have ANY close relationships in the media?
If anyone has a shot it would be Bob Labriola but I don’t think his an author/biographer

Should've fired Mike Tomlin in 2013, 8-8 or 8-9 seasons. Is not the Standard!
