WOW!!! The detail is out of this world. The most amazing weathering and detail I have ever seen. It looks so real. I have seen a lot of model RR videos and this one is absolute first rate. Thank you for sharing.
I like the level of weathering, enough for us to believe those buildings have been around a while, without looking like they are about to fall done. However what impresses me much more is you rock work, right down to the point of a proper amount of tailing that also look like they have been there a while. Looks a lot like granite formations and perhaps some shale. I would love to see how you got that effect, as I have a lot of granite to create myself.
Really like the rockwork, the color palette, and weathering, Scott. But one day, I will see a 30" gauge layout that avoids tunnels (one of the things narrow gauge was meant to avoid) and I will be happy at last! Where trains need to disappear for the sake of one's plan, one can also use shallow buildings, trees, cuts, road overpasses, etc., to lead the track "off stage." But it's still a very nice layout. 8-D
Seriously such an amazing layout. I love On30 and this just looks fantastic. I'm currently working on an On30 garden railroad and just purchased a 2-6-6-2. What a great engine, huh!?
wow simply amazing!!! your railroad is beautiful!!! thank you for sharing! I am currently building an HO scale RR but this makes me want to build an On30 in the future! soo cool!!! are those rocks real? they look fantastic!
Wondrous stuff. how do you clean your track. Some of it has to be out of easy reach? I can only stand back and admire such great creativity. Green with envy !!
