Burning Witches has become another one of my favorite metal bands. They play faster, harder and heavier than most of favorite classic metal bands these days. They dress and look the way a true metal band should. One of the bands I would love to watch live in concert. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
100% I agree with you. I'm glad I discovered Burning Witches by accident a couple years ago and this is hard to say but if it came down to it I would put them in top #1 choice over my other #1's like Black Sabbath and Metallica .
Thanks for reacting to this new song by these ladies. I came across them about 2 years ago, around the same time I found Lovebites and Band Maid. I was able to finally see them when they toured the US last year. It was a 3 hour drive to see them open for The Iron Maidens which is a female cover group. For me Burning Witches was the main band and the other was like an after party band even though they were pretty good. It might be worth checking more of their videos out if you have time.
I've been loving Burning Witches for a few years now. A couple of line up changes, but awesome music everytime - very 80s NWoBHM meets 80s Thrash. Checkout "Hexenhammer", "Burning Witches", "Sea of Lies", "Lucid Nightmare". Along with Eleine and Blackbriar, they are a band that are deserving of far more exposure. They just moved from Nuclear Blast to Napalm Records, who are a favourite with the reactor community; so here's hoping
The song and music was great - I just can't get into the dark/evil vibe of this video - the torture scenes, the blood, the vampiric themes, and the satanic symbols. I've checked out this band numerous times and a lot of their songs have this evil vibe to them which keeps me from enjoying their music.
This song is about Elizabeth Bathory, who was either a vile serial killer or falsely accused to rid the Hungarian monarchy of the debts they owed to the Bathory family: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_B%C3%A1thory A lot of their song's take revisionist views of witchcraft and the stories of the real women (and handful of men) accused (Hexenhammer, Burning Witches) vs a satyrical play around with what it might be like to be a witch (We Eat Your Children, Death List)

I hear you. That look isn't for everyone. With that said, as a fan of horror things I dig it.
