Dr Oller, you are amazing. Thank you for this educational video on dental care & disease. I wish I would have been educated many years ago like this. Unfortunately, I suffer from severe gum disease & now autoimmune diseases as well. I truly don’t understand why dental care is NOT recognized within our healthcare system. Dental care coverage should be a priority as our mouths are the gateway to our bodies. It’s a very sad, unfair & expensive situation. After 25 years of suffering chronic pain. Tens of thousands of dollars of painful treatments, and I finally gave up. I had them all pulled!! No more pain. I can eat almost anything, and clean-up is super easy. A really good set of full dentures will run $4k-$5k, but they will last for decades. Best decision I've ever made!
