- If you want to disagree that the direction the Conan Exiles is headed (has been headed) is not a terrible one, then don't bother watching. Or I guess do watch if you enjoy your blood boiling and like leaving comments that lack actual thought processes behind it.
Believe me when I say this, the negative comments encourages me to make content for this game.
There was a time when it seemed like they had a decent direction in play for Conan but greed is one hell of a chemical that causes people make terrible decisions. I'm sure some of you can relate with clouded judgment.

I’ve been playing for 5 years, I’m on an official pve server. No mods. I play every day and I still enjoy it.
Pvp and pve are completely different games.

Tbh to enjoy the game you gotta play PvE, PvP will make you hate the game! Tbh though you should definitely try mods, it can feel like a whole new game with the right ones, I typically return every few months and open up my own secret and stick a ton of good mods on, helps keep the game fresh
I have almost 600 hours in. All single player. Can't stand the lag on any online server. After collecting all the thralls and building, it does get boring. Every major update I rinse and repeat. I am a super casual gamer though.
I was Kraken (Boombas) on that first server you showed in the video, after we beat Silent Legion, I had to stop playing, officials is full of cheaters. It is like a meta. I no longer play Conan but I watch your videos.
single player console here, and I want to say that since I tried the game in 2019 I loved it and I was thinking of trying PvP but the things I saw and heard about the pvp I didn't even bothered to try, so I kept playing single player and thought it was enough for me, though the fighting style in pvp looks cool and awesome, someday I will try it out.
Hope funcom will see the potential in Conan
I've always said Conan is a great single or co-op game but is a horrible online game
2019 was probably the best time to play PvP tbh so you've definitely missed the boat on that, don't even bother now you will just hate the game, stick to PvE and pop some mods on to keep things feeling fresh

Great video as always , yeah officials are filled with cheaters , just 2 weeks ago we got the whole clan back together and all 8 of us joined 1055 ,we run into a cheater who we managed to get banned cause he has very blatant cheats , especially his q lock instant kill , but the funny thing is the mod that came in to investigate dev wiped us for building into the arena cave alongside the cheater , he dev wiped us for blocking game content. This company is truly a joke.
um yeah dude dont build anywhere near dungeons that has been like that since day1 man. sorry you got dev wiped next time dont do that

My friends and I play on Private Vanilla Siptah and Exile Lands servers no mods only have the decay turned off most of the time for the last year and a half now. We do also have a Savage Wilds server that we rarely even jump on but the only mod there is the Savage Wilds and Shimas Compendium that goes with the Savage Wilds (Same people behind both). We choose to leave our Official maps as Vanilla so that when new updates come out we don't have to worry about broken mods and we actually enjoy playing the game without the mods most of the time. We do have a few other games that we also play with each other but seem to always end up back on Conan together for the last 3.5 years since I decided to give it another try after being very disappointed with it during the Eary access days.
When it first dropped it was straight up garbage. I gave it some time and tried it again with my wife and it seemed to be heading in a positive direction. Truly, I had high hopes. Had...

Officials are in a bad state right now. That player Chasephillips shown in the beginning is a hacker from the clan Beta on 1540.
I have 1k hours in official PVE. I see many unique things about this game: the aesthetic is perfect, the building is the best among the many survival games I played and it's got a lot of unique dungeons, interactions, items, etc that you can hunt and experience. That being said every single thing is freaking bugged and half baked and it's like they have a great idea but they can't actually code a game. We even get raided in PVE in this game, sometimes by cheaters, sometimes by bugs. So yea it's not like PVE is heaven, we also play a Funcom game...
I think the devs added all these new bugs on purpose, it's all a troll because we keep pressuring them to do better. So what do they do? They do what they do best, break the game. It's all they can do.
You obviously know nothing about coding or game development. So stop commenting on it, you are not qualified to.

Been fighting people that seem to have unlimited lodestones, so many that they are using oils on them. Had a suspicion that dupes were a thing. No idea how to do them
Dupes were 100% a thing and took ages to fix. You could even dupe bombs directly while putting them down, so unlimited and faster than normal bombing.
Wouldn't be surprised if there still are dupes.
I also had a skybase but stopped playing so it decayed.
22hours in on single player. so far im having fun in my first survival game. but i love Hyboria so i may be biased
Not biased, just new to the game. Spend a few thousand hours on pvp servers, it changes you.
I love Conan Exiles but been stuck on Enshrouded, Palworld, Nightingale and now really stuck on FFXIV but Conan is my overall favorite I love when you guys make new video on thralls and such for when I get back on??? Ill give you 2001??? lol
Thralls have been nerfed from what I know. Haven't done much research on it.

Literally just got a base taken out by some experienced exploiters. As I'm quickly reminded why these official servers suck. Dude hammered through my wall, Literally, with melee weapons. Searched "everywhere" for them. Can never find them or their loot. I know the map extremely well but I don't know mesh spots because I DON'T F ING CHEAT. You can also make floating bases. Every time I've come back, there's new bs. Somebody pillages the f out of your base, and you're not going to stop it even if you match their numbers
Yep... There were two cheaters on our server going head to head, both scared to die to the other one. Was rather amusing reading chat when they would argue. It was as if the game had become a way of life for them. Sad really.

Un-modded Conan is a nightmare. Almost everything is broken.
They keep breaking the combat just because they are not able to see the simple solution to the combat roll spam: Return of the grey stamina bar. This way, when the player overeserts, they have to pay the price with the cool down, thus, killing the spam.
Good players manage their stamina.
They also need to unbreak Siptah. Map keeps crashing, followers keep dying for no reason, and most Eldarium weapons are almost unusable.
This is why i play pve-c
still get to pvp, wait out the bugs, and weed out the nerfed shit.

I'm amazed people still play the game, like you can get legendary weapons within 10min, shobek armor in the next 10min. theres no reason to play the game or do anything in it anymore.

Sobek armor is garbage and legendary weapons take a lot more than 10 minutes on official considering you have to do dungeons to get them now

really wanted to get back into conan after a several months break but then i looked yesterday and shlt theres like max 200, 300 people playing mabey less, they need fix all there bugs, get rid of the shlt ingame bazarr thing shop thingy, push out an actualy decent full dlc, mabey a new map even. aint no one ever coming back to this game tho not now and funcom wont fix shlt in time eiver. the exact same is gona happen to dune its all gona be great for first few years but they themselvs will kill the game off
I play on Xbox and all the official OCE servers have like 20 players combined.
Devs don't care. I've said pretty much the same thing as you have for years. They cater to the PVE crowd like simps. And with most of the female playerbase in the PVE servers, it's probably true. I've wished for years now that the funcom devs were far more like the facepunch devs of rust. Always fixing things in a timely manner, and constant content updates.
It's still the best survival game out there. Not everyone exploits but alot of people do. Which I don't understand why. Particularly the youtubers making contact. The lag chat and the speed hack. Like you already have the numbers but evidently that's not good enough. If you think I'm kidding even a little bit I'm not. Go to last rites, 2804 was just dev wiped. Like this dude is speaking facts
It had potential to be one of the best survival games. To call it the best survival game in 2024 is being a generous.

I feel bad for pc play on console the big thing you got to Warner about is lag switch yes they work I raid this clan crash several times a boom when off over 1 week the crash the sever over 100 time in they use lag I. Fight to where you will roll out the attack in ruberbals you back 300 in over clan use that way I got clip off it in can sometimes hit you form 100 feet away but they can’t esp
Yes yes ! nice update They nerfed the bearers again again. Again twice is not a typing mistake. So kind of funcom. Added more bugs cause the game was pefectly playable and smooth so new bugs is just a breath of fresh air. Who need strong pets ? From now on they only serve as decorations for your awesome base. Just like taxidermy. Perfect ! Exactly what i wanted.

Had a similar run with my crew after chap4 dropped. 2 weeks of alphahood, then a clan of 9 russian cheaters rolls in, delete most crap and stuff valuables up your arse and vault yourself, server dies. Same ol', same ol'.
The combat gets boring when you can barely kill things on your own, with mods I can make dungeon party and do fine with my own pace in single-player, sadly with constant health nerfs on thralls, all tier 3s and some tier 4s feel way too squishy than they were before lol
Funcom is just farming the whales until dune releases. Pretty sure its a skeleton crew working on conan now

I dont think you have ever seen a real cheater in conan because you cant do anything against a cheater.They have ESP,Speedhacks,can teleport inside your building and steal from locked lootboxes inside your base.They can even kill you behind a 6 foundations thick wall.So plz enlighten the community on your wisdom on how to deal with cheaters on official?
