Why none of Western brands are doing PHEV like this is a mystery: The GWM is launching, in China, some PHEV SUV 400hp (beautiful) models that have a range of more than 1300 Km with a single tank of 55l, this is possible because they are run by electric motors, the small and efficient 1.5l ICE engine is mostly a range extender. It can also go 170 Km in electric only mode. That said, the air suspension should be standard in the Porsche. I also dislike this trend of full digital clusters: the excess of information detracts from the driving experience, and the screens are also worse for eye fatigue.

Cayenne S with a V8. I think that is going to be the choice for most people who want performance. For everyone else, the base is still more than enough.
A golf is more than enough
The S is hands down the best choice now. The V8 is a pure Porsche move. That Turbo GT is hot, but that 200K price will keep it pretty rare.

@@Nickxb12 Porsche dynamics should help a little. Might be a bit of a whale, but part of the allure of the V8 is also the sound (which hopefully isn't even more muted).
@@Nickxb12 You are right provided IF and only IF you look at it from performance perspective.
But for most people they want something reasonably priced (in the Cayenne range) spiced up with V8 power, smoothness, and sound.

Shame Porsche won’t sell the Turbo GT in europe but hopefully means the Turbo S Hybrid that is coming later will do the keen driver justice

Not sure about the interior, but I definitely prefer the exterior of the old one.

@@phantpwr definitely. Digital screen makes cars look cheaper (Porsche curve screen is better than others to be fair). But I really miss an analogue rev display.
These are the best looking Cayennes by far... I'm glad the old mismatched front grills have now morphed into a more cohesive design. They have also cleaned up the rear end too in the same way. The interior is fantastic too.
The front does look better. I still think it looks rather ugly though. The blue shown here looks decent. I still could not get one

what a beautiful car, interior/exterior is perfect. solid quality, sleak design. especially the little details like on 14:11 that chrome looks so good and makes a huge difference. or the screws on the steering wheel.

I'm surprised the Turbo GT won't be available in Europe anymore, that's quite shocking.

Why are you surprised? In Europe we will soon drive only EVs, as the CO2 regulations that are connected to companies taxation, will make the release of cars like Turbo GT not cost-effective for them.
@@jimtzikisthe EU is struggling currently with energy, there will be no way that the EU will be able to provide enough electricity to charge electric vehicles. It’s still many many decades away.

IMO, the 'not cost-effective' reason doesn't seem to match, since there are still quite a few cars sold by the VW Group (including other brands, like Audi, Bentley and Lamborghini) that use the exact same engine. And even the Urus S and Performante share almost identical engine specs as the Turbo GT.
Why wouldn't the Turbo GT be sold as well, specially now with the facelift?
I can't help but wonder if that was a move by the VW Group to prevent the Turbo GT from stealing sales of the Urus, which sit higher in the group's hierarchy.

The HUD seems to have a higher refresh rate than other brands like Audi. It is not flickering when it is captured in a video. Thats good
I bough a brand new Cayenne 15 months ago, glad the changes are subtle. Curious about option pricing as I had to increase the base price by 38% 😂to get the options I wanted.

Absolutely love the interior! Especially in the front. Also the smooth appearing infotainment system is looking promising. The fact that they left some hard switches for key changes makes a lot of sense imo. As of today I'd prefer this any day over mercedes / bmw's interior.

Porsche keeps getting better and better
The visuals of the new Cayenne line up are awesome and we gotta celebrate this as they even used v8 on the Cayenne s model instead of 6-cylinder engine as they used to on the previous gen.🎉
But I'm still wondering why Porsche just left their traditional "5-circled" cluster out
Also, aside from the "shaver gear selector", why on earth did they remove the key-form startsup method which starting up by turning the key shaped stick on the left?

Please cover the rear screens, rear also front climate controls and all the buttons. It makes a difference, the reason I didn't buy an X5 because no climate controls in rear (2019) model.

I never liked or owned a Porsche Cayenne, which is now about to change. Because this substantial update to the interior and exterior design makes the Cayenne very pretty and very desirable.

Already pre order this in Feb. Hope I can get it around Aug. I like it.
I ordered my Turbo GT in Feb of ‘22 and it arrived November ‘22 as a ‘23 model year. I did PTS velvet purple metallic and every imaginable offering keeping the racetex interior. The PTS colors can slow an order since they only do custom colors 2x a year. The car had to sit at the dealer for an additional month because the Burmeister stereos were in short supply, so I wasn’t able to collect it till December ‘22
You are going to be stunned. The car is thrilling, and as always with Porsche, the quality is unmatched
