I got an ole ‘84 craftsman 20” snowblower that I picked up for $100 a few years ago, took her apart and cleaned her up. She works great. I’ve had to rig a few things as far as throttles and whatnot but she starts up every time and moves snow anytime I use her. I will be getting a plow for the truck soon but I will most definitely keep my craftsman around and still give her some work to do. I can’t fathom spending the amount of money a new blower cost nowadays. I just have so much property that needs snow removal so a plow makes the most sense for my situation.
I splurged on it for sure. Funny thing is right after getting it I got a rear blade for my tractor and found I really like using that more. So, I barely use the Ariens. Although when I do it works well.
I own a Ariens Deluxe 30 without efi. I live in Northern Canada & we recieve a fair amount of snow & the length of my driveway is 110 feet so I figured I better grab a bigger one. Got mine off the local buy & sell with chains, drift cutters, cover & storage pad for $600 CDN. ( $420 US). It was a divorce special. She caught her husband cheating so she was selling everything cheap. It was like brand new. Best money I have spent. You will enjoy the blower. Have a great day.
I bought a used Craftsman 5/22 snowblower. I am going to disassemble and paint it this summer. Hope it looks as good as yours when I am done!
Nice job. Love the new snow blower!
Nice job. I did the same thing to my Yardman 8/24 in preparation for the upcoming winter.

What happened to the primer you were supposed to put that on before you put the finish coat on
Any trouble with the EFI on the Ariens?
Nothing so far, second year and starts right up with barely a pull.
@@Vincent72 what color paint match for 627804X6 Murray Ultra Snow blower?
